This is my second time using Hometown Moving Company, and I can't recommend them enough! From start to finish, Wayne, Dave, Stacey, and the move crew: Brian, Jerome, and Ron were reliable, quick to respond, and took care of every little detail.

We had our move scheduled with them, but when the day came to move, they began saying we didn’t show them our sofa set or a bedroom set WHICH ARE THE MAIN THINGS TO MOVE. They are so unorganized, even when we were showing them our house, it said sofa set when he was writing it down and the owner started acting up, not sure if it was for more money. They walked away from the entire move the morning of as we were preparing for the boxes to be in the truck. Moving is difficult as is and working with a company like this was an absolute nightmare. There’s some companies you want to stay far away from, this is one. They’ll make you think everything is all set and then pull some BS like this and cheap you. The owner, Ron and his entire company are rude. Never in a million years would I recommend this company to anyone I know.

There was an issue over the bill while the owner was out. Wayne called me directly and handled the billing issue correctly. Would highly recommend.

Hometown movers are first rate and top notch . They were professional in every way. They did everything and in a timely and professional manner. It would be a 10 star rating for me if I could . Thank you to Wayne and Ron and to all the guys who worked so professionally.

They were highly recommend but I was very disappointed because the furniture in both my bedroom And dining room was severely scratch prior to them wrapping the furniture.
I would not recommend using them because they were very careless . 4-17-2024

They are kind and considerate on many levels.
I use them monthly for our Seniors who move into our CCRC.

Many items are missing, a lot of breakage, holes in walls, paint on furniture, they broke my TREK bike and replaced the part with a wrong color and denied it. They denied any wrong doing. I would not recommend these people to anyone. I actually saw a pair of very unusual expensive lamps (that are missing) on Marketplace.

We had a terrific experience using Hometown Movers. All four and later five of the men were patient, friendly, and considerate. We’ve used moving companies in the past and I remarked several times to my husband that this company has given us the best service of all the others we’ve used in the past. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who’s moving or thinking of doing so to call them. We would surely use their service again if we were to need a moving company but my husband and I agree that we are staying put as long as we can since neither of us wants to pack or unpack one more box!!!

The customer service at this place was absolutely appalling. When I reached out to the owner about moving a dining set and china cabinet just under 20 miles, he quoted me an outrageous $575. I had the whole house moved for $700 with more pieces than this. His abrupt attitude made it clear he had no interest in taking the job. If they don't want your business, why even answer the phone? Steer clear of this establishment and give it to people who are grateful for your business!!
