“I recently celebrated my birthday in American Girl NYC. I'm a young adult doll collector from Europe and I'd been dreaming of getting the full AG experience since I was 8 years old. It was all I had hoped for!!I went with my best friend and the service at the New York Cafe was brilliant— our server, Christian, was incredibly nice and fun, and made our inner child feel positively spoiled. A true professional! Special thank you to him and Keyshawn for singing happy birthday and making our experience so much better. I had an amazing time and made some lovely memories. “This store may not have the largest footprint, but they make excellent use of the space they have. The walls are filled with well-organized displays and eye-catching box sets, and a few larger LEGO builds are showcased throughout the shop. Overall, it’s a fun and worthwhile stop for both locals and visitors.”
“NYC's longest running board game & rpg shoppe (I think, my research is minimal on this) is literally floor to ceiling games. You can find not only new release, but titles from decades ago among it's packed shelves. This place is truly worth a visit when you are in Manhattan.”

“I love that B&N is pet friendly. It's a great place to visit, browse for my next read, and take the fur-baby for a climate controlled walk through the aisles. If you or your dog get thirsty, you can stop at the Starbucks in the store for a drink and sit at the cafe tables or comfy chairs. My dog loved her pup-accino. Side note, taking a dog to such locations is also great for dog training, provided you hold the leash tight and remain aware of other dogs and people/children who may be fearful of dogs.”
“Was in the store this past Saturday. There was a kid who was a little short on his purchase. The cashier came over and put up the money he needed to be able to purchase a football. He walked out of there super happy. Times like these we need a little kindness. What may seem small to others can be really big to someone else. I dodnt get her name and I should have but just wanted to share her kindness.”
“Took my son here for the first time, he has been asking me since he saw their table at NA day event. He’s very into Pokémon cards right now. As we were browsing one of the gentlemen gave him a Halloween pack right away. We bought 3 packs and had a good conversation. As we were about to leave the 2 guys gave my son a whole stack of holographic cards for free. There ended up being a holographic gyrados in that stack of cards and my son has been hoping for that card in every pack he opens, it made his day. Great customer service and highly recommend. Fun store to walk around and get lost in nostalgia. Wouldn't get my comics from any other shop. Even if I was in a life-threatening situation, I'd still pick Zapp! Comics. “Who doesn't love a bookstore! Thank goodness BN still exists! Otherwise, I would not be able to share my love of books and bookstores with my grandchildren. The best part for all of us (well, for me) is the toy section (telescopes, microscopes, you name it, it's there). The Grands also loved the children's book selections.
I must also mention the staff! They were very helpful and pleasant. In a world where customer service is almost nonexistent, I must give compliments where they are due! Please keep up the good work and great customer service!

“Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.
Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!
Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”

“I think this is my third time going to this Build a Bear. I loved it. We arrived a bit too early, so we only waited like 5 minutes outside. The staff was wonderful. The store was clean, and I felt like a child all over again. It wasn't crowded and the cashier was more than patient with me when we arrived at the front to pay. The only reason I removed a star is because the associate told me that they changed the way the certificates are created now. Apparently, we can't add the names anymore. You have to actually write it down afterwards which I didn't like because everything else is written on the birth certificate. So, that was a bummer. But other than that, I loved the experience and I had fun.”

“I love this store Open to 6 different locations.There are some items that you find in all of the stores but each store has different items Some cater to children some the home and pets the workout products have not been as good as they have in the past The gateway plaza has More of a selection. Haven't been there in a. while, So it may have changed. They used to have the candy from back in the day. I don't find it as much anymore.”

“We Enjoy coming to this location of Lego store. They have so many different items displayed to see what they look like once they put together. They had a wonderful variety of Lego pens that I have been looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful in finding what we needed. Also very organized and clean.”
