I got a gel manicure and the lady was very nice and service was quick. However, she filed so vigorously my cuticle started bleeding and she didn’t even notice and continued to file (there was another woman getting a pedicure who walked out after bleeding three different times). I had gel previously that had to be removed and I don’t think my nails soaked for long enough. The nail lady used the electric file and I think took off too much. It’s now three weeks after my manicure and my nails feel so brittle and weak.

New to the area and decided to give this nail salon a shot. I hate to leave bad reviews. But - have you ever felt that you'd feel horrible/responsible if someone else had to experience the same? Well, that's how I felt. I feel bad because everyone (owner and techs) was nice, warm, and welcoming. My daughter and granddaughter had gel mani&pedis while I had a regular mani&pedi. Truly these are simple services that most would expect a decent outcome. I couldn't have been more wrong. Pedicure- they actually start working on your feet before you soak them in water. The massage chair was inoperable. They used a type of rag or scrubbing cloth for heels which raised my concerns of sterilization Manicure- worked on cuticles without softening the cuticles first. Nails were cut and shaped haphazardly. My tech talked on the phone during the service By the way, all three of us had disappointing experiences. There were other things but I don't wanna beat a dead horse. I've had a ton of manis and pedis done and have never experienced anything like this. Nice people. Service, not so nice *the pics are two days post service

I want to just highlight this for people who get overstimulated easily, it's so quiet and calm. For me, it's a big reason I like this place and it makes the mani/pedi experience so much more pleasant!
I also love how they do my nails. I usually get a gel manicure and they last for 3-4 weeks without any chipping so I'm happy !

Recently moved to the area and I’ve been trying to find a new nail saloon - I love this place! Such nice work and strong attention to detail. Also very calming and you don’t feel rushed. Highly recommend!

We returned to Ann's Nails the other day. We had a great experience. You can not beat her special price of $45 for a gel mani and reg. pedi! The Madison salons are all around $70 or more! Please don't hesitate to go. Ann has been in Madison for 13 years, which says a lot!

I am so happy with my gel manicure, 2 weeks later and it is still on strong, no chips or peeling! Clean salon, excellent, relaxing pedicures! Definitely recommend!!

Love Ann's nail salon, it is probably the only relaxing nail place in town, it makes you feel so good after a rushed day, I have been coming here for the past 7 years which I can't believe I have not written a review yet, of course some of the assistants are better than others, but my pedicure always last at least a month, Ann is always accommodating when something happens to my nails. She is also such a joy of person, the service has not changed since I started which is why I keep coming back, the relaxing music and the hot wax on the heels are such a plus!
