“We received our piano back today and I had a chance to physically inspect it. All I can say it is pure joy to see a family heirloom that I remember when I was 5 years old showing its age then in such great condition. Your business and family are truly blessed and the craftsmanship shows through clearly. I appreciate the added attention your company gave when we were trying to get the appearance to be similar to when it was a new piano over 200 years ago.

At 65 years of age I have witnessed the slow aging of this piano over the years and knowing what it meant to my mother, she would be ecstatic. Many Many Thanks for your craftsmanship on the restoration of our Family Piano.

Kind Regards”

“We just sold our card collection to Just Collect, Inc. John Palomares made the process so easy and delivered a high level of customer service. He gave us an estimated appraisal prior to shipping the cards, paid to ship the collection with added insurance, and emailed a final review payment offer! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to sell their collections.”

“Peter is an AMAZING master craftsman!!! We had him refinish a one of a kind antique wash basin with a mirror and a marble top. The legs were wobbly and there were scratches in the wood and some glue on the marble. Peter worked his magic and made this very old piece look brand new!! I highly recommend him and would trust him with your precious pieces. Sorry for the back lighting in the photo, it couldn't be helped.”

“Cute store with A LOT of vintage stuff! It’s not organized in any particular way, so you have to be diligent in looking under and in everything. I wish I could have bought more, I went home with 1 antique barometer …I will definitely be visiting this place again.”

“Peter and his team did the most incredible job stripping and refinishing my parents’ 50+ year old mahogany table and chairs. The Table had an antiquated finish that did not suit our home. Peter was able to attain the EXACT finish I had hoped for and I’m so grateful that he and his talented crew were able to spend time understanding what I was looking for and delivering a beautiful result that I am SO happy with! They were such a pleasure to work with!”

“This antique shop has a bunch of stuff. Every corner is filled with art, furniture, toys, books and more. Each booth is an individual seller so prices differ. My mom ended up paying double for an item we found on eBay.I found some hidden gem post cards that I can’t wait to display.”

“What a find this place is! The Brass Shop has been in business for over 50 years and that was a good omen. We needed to have an old bell jar lamp rewired and cleaned up. It was done within a few days. Frank, the owner, was great to work with and very helpful in having us video how to reassemble our pendant. And, the price was a quarter of what a store in Summit was going to charge for the same work...with no attitude.”

“Salvage Style is just one of the gems at Maplewood Mercantile, a co-op. There is a constantly changing array of lovely and well curated mostly Midcentury modern furniture and decorative items including lamps, pottery, glassware and other finds. This cool space features unique and stylish vintage clothing from The Collector and beautiful jewelry from Pipers Talisman as well. I come here often to browse, buy and enjoy the happy and friendly vibe.”

“I have been to a lot of estate sales and Jean of Dovetails is by far one of the absolute best! She is special for a variety of reasons. I’ll name a few:- Offers the option of emailing ahead to be put on a list for the first day of the sale. This is so much better for safety and mental health reasons. The thought of people camping out in cars and being #75 on a list at 8am stresses me out.- Actually cares to do the task at hand and clean out the home and not gauge people.- Doesn’t waste time pricing every single item in the home or looking at every single item in your hand when you’re ready to checkout. Offers bundle pricing!- Jean is incredibly kind and patient, even during stressful situations. I’m not sure how she does it sometimes, but props to her!- Jean respects the homeowners property and has a true appreciation for history.I admire this company very much, especially since more and more crook estate sale companies continue to get away with causing safety hazards and ripping people off, with no respect for the homeowners either. Dovetails is the way to go!”
