Today I had time to pop in and ask a few questions, and just like that, I had an appointment for 2 pm.
They called me at 4pm, my boys were done. They came out perfect. I will definitely be back.

I love that they give me detailed updates after daycare, and even when he’s boarding, I can call and get a full update on how he’s doing. Whether he’s there for the day while I’m at work or staying overnight while I’m away, I always feel completely at ease knowing he’s in such good hands. NJ Fix My Dog
300 Main St Suite # 579, MadisonI cannot recommend NJ Fix My Dog highly enough! Sending my Golden Retriever puppy to their two-week training camp was one of the best decisions I could have made.
I spent a tremendous amount of time researching training programs and was extremely hesitant about sending my three-month-old puppy away for two weeks. I had read mixed reviews and some concerning stories about traditional board-and-train facilities, so finding the right environment was incredibly important to me. I wanted her to be loved, happy, and treated like part of a family rather than staying in a kennel. What stood out about NJ Fix My Dog was that the puppies live in their trainers’ homes, with only one or two dogs in training at a time, allowing for truly individualized attention and training throughout the day.
From my first interaction with Jean, I was impressed by how responsive and thoughtful she was in answering my many questions and understanding my goals. She connected me with Christy, one of NJ Fix My Dog’s trainers, who was absolutely phenomenal! My puppy was already a quick learner, and I wanted a program that would challenge her, build her confidence, and address the frustrating puppy habits she was beginning to develop.
Christy exceeded every expectation. Because my puppy lived with her family, she could identify and address behaviors as they naturally occurred throughout the day, something that would be difficult to replicate in a traditional boarding facility. She also had wonderful opportunities to interact with Christy’s dogs while learning patience, manners, and self-control. The detailed daily updates, photos, and videos gave me tremendous peace of mind, and it was obvious she was happy, loved, and thriving.
The amount she learned in just two weeks was incredible! Beyond basic obedience, she developed wonderful door manners, leash manners, recall, impulse control, and the ability to settle and relax even with distractions around her. She learned how to be patient, respond to commands, and navigate everyday situations with confidence and self-control. These skills have completely transformed our daily life together. I can finally eat in peace and wear socks without having them stolen off my feet! Even her dog walker and strangers on the street have commented on how exceptionally well-mannered she is for such a young puppy. Best of all, she’s still the same happy, goofy, affectionate puppy, just with an incredible foundation of training.
Christy also introduced us to scent work and enrichment games that we continue to enjoy together. When she brought my puppy home, she spent time walking me through everything she had learned and provided an incredibly thorough guide to help me continue reinforcing her training.
Having raised dogs before and attended traditional puppy training classes, I appreciate their value, but nothing compares to the results we achieved with NJ Fix My Dog. I was initially sad about missing two weeks of puppyhood while she was growing so quickly, but looking back, I don’t feel like I missed out at all. She came home a few pounds heavier, still very much my little puppy, but with an incredible foundation that will benefit us for years.
I am so grateful to Jean and Christy for the care, thoughtfulness, and expertise they put into this experience. My puppy is happier and more confident, and our everyday life together is so much more enjoyable. The program exceeded every expectation, and I would make the same investment again in a heartbeat!

27 Kings Road, MadisonI got the tomato & goat cheese croissant and a latte, both were very tasty. The inside is impeccably decorated/themed. Plenty of seating inside, but it was a bit loud inside so I opted for one of the outdoor tables. A nice spot — will be back again when I’m in the area.

30 Cook Plaza, MadisonMenu is bigger than I expected. The potatoes that comes with the breakfast platter is a huge let down. For the price I expect fresh potatoes. These appear to be some prepared potatoes that they add their own vegetables to. Its not cohesive. The jam and butter board doesn't include any savory butters. This took us by surprise. So, it's sweet jams served with sweet butters. Disappointing in that aspect. The breads on the board were all delicious. The corn muffins were amazing and the biscuits were not dry at all. I didn't appreciate the acoustics in the area where we were sat. There were only 2 other tables when we first arrived and everyone's voices were immediately overwhelming us. By the time we were leaving a few other tables had filled in and its was very difficult to even hear the server. Probably wouldn't come back again just because I hate to have to shout just to be heard.

St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center Madison
575 Woodland Avenue, MadisonWe adopted our sweet girl Nola (formerly Germany) from St Hubert’s. I took her back one day to buy treats from their shop and went in to say hi- she immediately recognized the staff and went all butt wiggly happy to see them. While she was there they cared for her and they made the adoption process just as caring and easy for us . We are thankful to St Hubert’s for allowing us find the love of our lives!
