Sunrise of Madison is exceptional. Service and care is top notch. Amanda Galton in particular was the reason why we chose this place for my father in law. She was so friendly and welcoming. Such a sweetheart. Anyone would be in good hands here!

If you plan on sending a loved one here they should be either catatonic or fully functioning. This facility can not handle anything in between.

My mother has been very happy at Sunrise of Madison since her arrival over 4 years ago. Thanks to a very kind and talented activities director, Jessie, my mother has been happy to join activities and engage with the other residents. More recently, Sunrise has added a second position in activities, giving Jessie an extra hand and having an activity person 7 days of the week. Thanks to Amy, my mother now feels an extra level of care and one on one attention that has been so meaningful for both me and my mother. She makes daily visits to the residents and engages personally to offer an ear, a laugh or a conversation. She has been a valuable addition to the team of caregivers, giving of her personal time and attention. Last week, for my mother’s birthday, she used her own lunch hour to eat with my mother in my absence. She has truly made a difference in my mother’s life! Presently, there is an excellent team of receptionists who know the residents by name and provide extra help and conversation to everyone. It is this special kind of attention that makes Sunrise a very caring environment.

My dad has been at Sunrise in Madison for several weeks now, and we are so happy that we seem to have found a truly perfect place for him. The facility is absolutely beautiful, and his 1 bedroom unit is bright and airy. The food is really good -- something that was quite important to my father! But best of all is the staff -- everyone working there is engaging, interested in the residents, kind, and caring. I can't say enough good things about them! On top of that, on the rare occasion that something doesn't go quite right, it's rectified immediately. We are truly completely satisfied with the choice to move Dad to Sunrise.

Excellent choice for assisted living. Convenient to greater Morristown and Madison areas. Hotel-like setting and most important is a loving, attentive staff who take extremely good care of my mother.

Amazing place to work and live the building is beautiful and freshly renovated everyone here is warm and always smiling. The residents are happy and the staff goes above and beyond. Sunrise Madison Rocks!

Great big mansion on lovely grounds in a terrific town. Updating apartments all the time and homey atmosphere. Everyone is friendly to a point of family feeling.

This place is absolutely outrageous! They take in patients that they are not equipped to care for and then over medicate them so they don’t have to deal with them! They have kitchen staff “helping” with patients, they dismiss your concerns when brought up, and they just don’t care! And the HIPAA violations?! Don’t even get me started on those! I’m surprised there haven’t been any lawsuits against this place yet! It’s clearly all about money for them! I wouldn’t even send my goldfish there!

When a loved one is diagnosed with Dementia.. you know the hardest step will be when you have to move them into a memory care home. You look to find the safest, cleanest, best staff to resident ratio for more attentive care and support, with a comforting environment knowing you are putting them into the hands of others to care for them on a daily basis. This step is extremely emotional for everyone involved. Sunrise of Madison has been a great fit for our family member.. the facility is beautiful, well taken care off, the grounds are lovely and allow resident to sit in rocking chairs on the front porches, there is nice variety of activities, and most important the staff has been great. For us, Jelani Lee, the Reminiscence Coordinator, has been incredible in every way. He has been instrumental in the transition for my father, has helped with every aspect of moving in, responds to emails and phone calls in a timely manner, is always pleasant and is a comfort knowing there is a point person to help with any communication as needed. We thank you Jelani and appreciate you... and all the staff at Sunrise of Madison!

When your loved one is in need of additional care outside of the home, there are so many factors that come into play. Trust, respect, dignity, quality for a happy life, and friendship are just a few to name. Sunrise of Madison goes above and beyond in all of these areas. My mother is content there knowing that she has care givers that she can trust and develop relationships with. The location is beautiful and every area of expertise gives unparalleled care from the nursing and wellness staff, the dining and activities staff, and all of the management. They are attentive, kind and always available for a quick hello or an in depth check in on your loved one. The residents are also lovely, making the community a welcoming one. If you're searching for a second home for your loved one, Sunrise of Madison is well worth a visit.
