“Where do I begin? I picked up a project 07 Monte Carlo ss that I knew needed a transmission rebuild. Rob was very familiar with the parts that needed to be upgraded in the 4t65e which is prone to failing in these cars and gave me a very fair price on all the work they did. They changed several axles and mounts which all needed to be fixed as well and were very diligent with their work. The result is the car is the car is running like a brand new 07 ss and shifting very smooth in all gears. Puts a huge smile on my face every time I drive it. “I've had years of dealing with fluid leaks from my 2006 Honda V-6 2dr cpe. After I moved this summer(2023) to Plainfield, inquiries at service stations and auto parts stores led me to Sal's Fanwood Auto Transmissions. Three leaks, one requiring dropping the transmission to replace a seal, were cured. All repairs were within estimates that were well below others offered "back down south."
