“I am a sucker for old buildings and books, so when The Book Barn popped up on my Instagram feed, I knew I had to make the trip.
Walking into a centuries-old barn with books stacked from floor to ceiling feels like stepping into another era. Prices are incredibly reasonable, and if you wander all the way to the back, you’ll discover a clothing shop and a room full of housewares. I found shelves of delicate china and vintage dinnerware at prices that made me do a double take.
My only real complaint is that Saturday mornings are busy. Because everything is donated, this isn’t the place to hunt for the newest bestseller. It’s where you come for the experience, the possibility of stumbling across something unexpected, and the thrill of finding a great deal on a forgotten gem.
I have a feeling this place is going to be even more magical in the fall. I’ll definitely be back.”

“Like any great consignment or vintage shop, if you do a little digging, you are going to find a few gems. The Vested Interest is probably one of the most organized shops I've visited, so the digging isn't too intense and the gems are really not too hard to find. Need a sweater? Well, go to the sweater section. Shoes? All in one place. Blazers, coats, outerwear? All separated so even sifting between different kinds of jackets isn't tough. You get the point. AND on top of all of that, it is very well sorted between sizes. My mom comes here often and has gotten a few great pieces for herself and as gifts over the years. And on my last trip I walked away with two beautiful coats! One was Jones New York and still had the original tags for $400.... I walked out with it for $80. The woman working there when I stopped in was super helpful, gave me some opinions when I asked for them and was very kind. When I didn't ask for any help, she just let me look around and shop without feeling rushed. Excited to pop back in every once and awhile! If you are looking for any gifts for the holidays, I definitely recommend shopping this great small second hand shop.”
“Love this place and the Staff too! I love to come here and browse like my mother used to do in the stores of Brooklyn, NY. You never know what new treasure(s) you'll stumble upon and walk out with. And believe me it's never a sudden impulse buy or a pressure purchase.
You will go home items that pull at your heart strings because they remind you of someone who was/is special in your life. I'm a man, so guess what caught my eye? Almost an exact duplicate double boiler my mom use to use when I was a kid. She would use it to reheat items in the top with boiling water on the bottom. That was our equivalent to microwaves today. The main thing I remember though was she would cook franks in the bottom and heat up the Campbell's pork and beans on the top. What a great meal that was!
The point is, go to Willing Hearts and find things current and things from years ago. Even if you don't buy something this time, it is fun to see all the things around the store. This store deserves 5 stars.”

I needed a last minute birthday gift to send to my niece and the girls at the boutique helped me choose the best gift, wrapped it so beautifully and then shipped it for me!! “A unique thrift shop located in an old home. You’ll find an assortment of treasures here, from glassware, tableware, decorations, vases, holiday decor, shoes and clothes.
Prices seemed reasonable for the items I was looking at.”

“These gals know how to choose clothes and keep the new products coming in,,, real pro's with an sharp eye for style. Very friendly and offer a wine night and some good sales. I love the ambiance, and it is well-lit and priced. Why buy new and why not bring in the things that you dont need. Love this place.”

“Over the past 2-3 years I have had great experience bringing beautiful crystal, china, etc. on consignment to Home Again, and was always welcome. 99% would sell well. If something was below the shop standard they simply mentioned it and I kept it for donation. I have enjoyed going to also get out of my Covid zone last year! My time with Kathy has always been a very positive experience. Recently I had 5 boxes but was not sure it was up to their standard, I emailed Kathy all the item pictures, she thanked me but they were not to standard as I had guessed, I did not have to drive there. I dropped the content to the VNA sale in FarHills for Morristown Medical Center. Kathy told me she was looking forward when I would go again. Always a pleasant positive experience with anyone at the counter!”
“Absolutely one of my favorite consignment stores in morris county. Cutest little boutique with a great selection, got my prom dress tailored here and she is amazing. Adorable clothes in great condition, so many cute shoes, CRAZY jewelry selection, honestly my go-to spot for a cutesy day out <3 Love love love”

“Out of all consignment shops in the area, this is my most favorite. The clothes are amazing and the pricing is very reasonable. The store is well maintained and as you enter, you feel as if you are in a high priced and expensive boutique.
I urge anyone who loves a bargain to head for Look Twice. You will only have to look once for a lot of value and great merchandise.”

“If you're ever in the Short Hills area definitely take a visit to this unique thrift store - it's a MUST! I happen to work in the same strip mall as DoubleTake & saw they had a 25% off sale so I decided to stop in, and I'm thrilled I did :) When I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised by how much they offered. The items have different ranges in pricing so even if you're not looking to spend a fortune you can find something special! I stumbled upon these booties by Anine Bing I actually saw on their website before coming in, and I needed to have them - literally OBSESSED! When one of the staff members saw me eyeing them she kindly asked if I wanted her to put them aside for me - everyone at DoubleTake was sweet & helpful! They weren't pushy either I felt comfortable in the store as I looked through everything. Just to address some negative reviews - the prices are transparent & are the same online as in store, and the employees are not racist as I was shopping with a diverse group of people when I was there - we were all treated the same & with respect. I look forward to going back here soon for another great experience!”

“It was a pretty easy experience. I dropped my clothes to sell at 5pm and they told me to pick them back up at 7pm. Whatever they didn’t buy I donated on my own but it’s a nice way to make a couple bucks. The clothing selection is also pretty cute and summery right now.”
