Wonderful book shop! Staff were wonderful with really great recommendations. Very wide selection of titles in all different genres. Lots of bookish gift selections too, including pins, bags, wallets, puzzles, and more. Honestly, it’s good I live so far from this store, otherwise I would spend all my money here!

Cute bookstore offering a wide variety of genres including a pretty decent romance section. It could use more variety of romances other than brightly covered contemporaries but I was just happy to see a designated romance section. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They sell a bunch of Bookish themed items so a great place to buy gifts for the book lover in your life. It's in a good shopping neighborhood. One step up to enter but pretty tight layout so accessible if the store has only a few customers.

We stumbled upon this bookstore while out and about on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We got some great things there, including books. We will definitely be back! Buy local when you can!

Love Booktowne. Our family has eclectic tastes in books and Booktowne never fails to have something interesting. And if they don't have it, they are more than happy to order it. Such a great thing to have a local bookstore in this day and age.

Great independent book store with a lot of books and other items. Books are separated fiction, nonfiction, childrens etc. even though it is small, they fit in many current and popular books.

The BEST bookshop in the state. Even if you don’t like to read, you will find something in there. Cute decor, amazing choices (I’ve bought 30 books and haven’t read one that I didn’t enjoy), and kind staff.

Wow. A nightmare. I'd had a book signing there a number of years ago, under the previous owner. It went well and was a win win, so naturally when I finished the sequel, I called them. They referred me to Maribeth Pelly. I started calling her in February for a July release. After a few times, she never bothered to get back in touch with me...even though she was a "Facebook friend". So finallly, I went into the store in person. The new owner "Peter" treated my book AND me like garbage. Belittled my very existence. Didn't even crack the book open! Made disparaging remarks about the publisher. Honestly did anyone reading this ever go into a bookstore and request books by a particular publisher? SO ridiculous. So unnecessary. I was heart broken. What gets MY goat is all their talk about "supporting local authors." If this is how they support local authors.....I'll never go in there again. HORRIBLY RUDE Very insulting.
