I'm a contractor. I actually prefer going to Lowe's just because it's less crazy than home Depot and they have everything I need. Prices are very similar to home. Depots and people generally are pretty nice that work there and works for me. I highly recommend them

Went to Lowe's to return something and it couldn't find it on my credit card and I had lost the receipt it's a $20 item I spent quite a bit of money with my flooring and bathroom at Lowe's. I asked to see the store manager she said he can't help you on the one in charge and then I called corporate customer service and they said the same thing they couldn't help me. Well I won't be shopping here I'll go to home Depot we don't have to worry if I have to return a $20 item I know they'll take it back. Very disappointed in Lowe's. She said the products was there she didn't deny that she said this is the policy and that's it. I'll be shopping elsewhere very disappointed in lowes corporation.

This place is so underrated. I wish their layout was more akin to home depots so that I can easily make the switch. The store is relatively empty but has all of the best materials on stock ready to go yet here I am fighting at a home Depot register why

Lowe's is a great place for most anything you need for the DIY'ers. Staff are helpful. I can usually find most things I need for any household repairs or maintenance.
