“I have a unique story...I'm moving my 88 year old mover and me (50) to Florida next month. My brother is paying for the move so I have a budget and was informed by my brother to get as many quotes as possible. Well today, I got a call from Jeff, the owner of Classic Moving of Tom's River, NJ who said up front he couldn't do my move, but spend 30 minutes on the phone with me offering tips suggestions about movers and the moving industry in general. He provided me with a great of helpful information, cost saving tips, things to look out for as I interview moving companies and more. Anyone who spends that kind of time with a person knowing full well he can't do the move is a really good guy in my book. And I can share with you from experience in speaking with over 25 companies, he is one of the good guys. Here's the best tip of all - DO YOU HOME WORK FOLKS! There are resources out there to prevent the pain and anguish we have all seen on 60 minutes about moving companies. And if you're in NJ - go with Jeff and Classic Moving. Sad he can't do my move, but eternally grateful for his time and knowledge.”
