4 years ago, my father in love who had not driven in almost 18 years, gave my son his car, a 1996 Volvo 960. My son was hit and their insurance totaled out the car although it could still be driven. That limited our repair options. We found Doug who worked with us as we located parts for this 28 year old car. He repaired the damage and offered solutions which restored the car to a better state than what it had been for over a decade. Dad would be so proud! Thanks Doug for helping us hold on to a piece of our beloved patriarch!

Doug of Foreign Specialities did a great job repairing the rocker panel on my 2023 Lucid Air. Replacement with a new panel would have been over $2K. The price quoted was fair and I got the car back in 2 days. Looks good as new and I'm very happy with the results. I also had a ding on the door and Doug recommended a PDR shop which also turned out to be top notch. Barbara was also a pleasure to work with in the office.

Foreign Specialties did an outstanding job painting my 2007 BMW 5301 and fixing the molding around the rear window moonroof and front windshield. The attention to detail and quality of work were exceptional. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking for top-notch car repairs. 5 stars all the way.

Had insurance repair work done in early 2021 due to storm damage. Got the care back and it looked like nothing ever happened.
3 years later, we noticed a leak from the area that was repaired. Called Doug and he said to bring the car by. He fixed the issue quickly and there was no charge for the repair.
Many shops would have told me that it's been too long / it's not their problem anymore, or at a minimum given me a charge for the follow up repair, but not Doug. Highly recommended for both the quality of work and customer service.

I was sideswiped by an 18 wheeler on the Somerville Circle on Apr. 10, 2023. Foreign Specialties was recommended by a local car repair shop. I called and was delighted with Barbara who first took my call. Then I spoke with owner, Doug. He was extremely helpful and understanding when I relayed I was having trouble with my insurance company. He called them & they finally got the ball rolling on my repair. I got my car back on Friday of this week & it was delivered to my home by Doug! It is flawless! I can't tell you how happy I am with the work & the service is wonderful. I thought the price was reasonable for the work done. I highly recommend this business.

Had an unfortunate collision with a deer with my brand new Audi and was recommended to Doug. He and the team repaired my car quickly and the work was impeccable. Highly recommended. I recently brought in my '02 Toyota 4Runner for some very minor body work and paint, was not disappointed. The body is super clean and I can’t tell the difference between the original and new paint, the match and finish is exceptional. Also, the customer service is first class. From beginning to end, truly professional. I have actually been back with my 4Runner for additional work I wanted done.
