“I just took the Modern Calligraphy for Beginners class. Michelle (owner) is an amazing instructor. She is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. I'm a lefty, so Michelle helped me figure out how to correctly do left handed calligraphy which you can not easily learn online. I learned so much in a short period of time (3+ hours). Her store has so much inventory but unfortunately I didn't have time to go shopping. I'm looking forward to taking more calligraphy classes at East Coast Calligraphy. Thank you Michelle!!”
“Very nice hobby store, they pretty much have everything you want and more. Paint selection is awesome and weathering supplies is overwhelming. Only gave it 4 stars because the model kit prices were insanely high. I'm all about spending money and supporting these hard to find mom and pop hobby shops but price gouging takes it to a new level where I want to spend my money. The poor economy is effecting all of us so I need to spend my money more wisely”

“Not only is the store brand new, always in stock, and super clean, the employees and management are also very friendly.I recently lost my wallet, and I guess I left it at this store. As anyone would, I went insane trying to find it with no luck. Today, I received my wallet in the mail as well as a sweet little note from the manager Andrea. “Y'all, color me impressed and in awe. I went to Jo-Ann's with two of my squares to color match. I was nervous because I started working on these squares over a year and a half ago. I could not find the colors anywhere. An employee asked me what I was looking for. I told her the and brand showed her the color. Without missing a beat she knew exactly where it was and what it was. She did that for two of my squares! She needs some flare added to her apron. ?”
