Looking for an end table. And All of them are SOOOOOOO OVERPRICED. I can buy. Brand new one at Walmart or better yet AFR IN Pennsauken . It’s unbelievableHow they get this furniture for free and make you pay more then it would be brand new. It’s just a BIG SCAM. Just like Good Will. Parking Lot is always empty for a reason. You do better going on Facebook marketplace and seeing what they have there they are one step away from giving it to habitat for human

Before I say anything, I want to be clear that I am a huge believer in Habitat's mission and have been a frequent restore shopper for years. This particular store has always been a bit atypical, mostly because they have a large percentage of their inventory still with tags on. I'm sure some stores like Target will donate excess inventory and get a tax write off. I assumed that explained most new items on the floor.Today I told a manager that when I put in the info on the tag a different chair came up that looked just like the one next to it. I figured it was a mixup. I was told that she bought the chairs herself and knew it was correct. She said they actually buy things from Ashley furniture new and sell them at their store. This would make sense if they bought at a discount and sold for the same price, but they were selling them at 75% over the price at Ashley. At least for that chair. That explains why a number of items over the years have been marked as more expensive than buying them new elsewhere. So.....are they just out of touch with the people who shop at the restore or are they just bad at business? I do not know. They can obviously buy and sell however they want, but seeing as those most folks seem to go to the Restore because they can't afford to buy new, this feels like they're taking advantage. In this example someone might be inclined to buy this chair at $325 because it's 25% off today, but they'd still be paying over 20% of what Ashley furniture sells these chairs for, and there isn't evena return option.

First off, I love Restores! Each one varies slightly in what they carry and their cost. This one used to have a back room with mountains of rugs, unfortunately when I went today that is no longer the case. This store had a plethora of sectional sofas from about 350 to 550 (good price compared to department store, but a little high compared to other Restores I've been to). They also seemed to have outdoor furniture. I was sad to see rug mountain go!

I went in to purchase a rug. The female cashier asked what size, I informed her the rug was 5x9. She then said “Be honest” and asked a coworker the size of the rug, who confirmed 5x9. This situation made me extremely uncomfortable, as I had purchased many rugs from them. I have no need to steal anything from a 2nd hand store or ANYWHERE else. Do better!

They are over pricing the furniture and don’t put prices on half of the items! It’s ridiculous they must not want to sell them!

I shop at habitat for humanity restore because I can’t afford paying retail for certain items and I’m looking for a decent deal. No way what this store charges is okay. I’ve been to plenty of restores and got a dining set (4 chairs and an extendable table) in really good condition that retails way over $1000 for $150 at Pennsauken, meanwhile this location wants $150 for ONE chair. They are selling parts of sectional for $300+ meanwhile I got a part sectional from big lots for $100. They have damaged furniture that were returns from Ashley’s that they are trying to sell for $900+. They are selling a damaged tub that if you go to Lowe’s and speak to a manager there you can get for waaaay cheaper. It’s insane. I do not plan on going back to this location. I feel like they missed what the point of these types of stores are for.
