Disappointed to say the least. After taking my car here for years of service and routine maintenance, I am furious with how my most recent experience transpired ! April of 2023 I brought my car in for an oil leak . Picked it up and it drove fine for about four days. I Went to visit my in laws in PA and drove up the north east extension only to have my engine seize up ( first time ever mind you ). Immediately took the car back in to the shop to find out someone forgot to put the filler cap back on after fixing said oil leak and all the oil drained from my engine . All I got was a simple āoops sorry about thatā. Fast forward to the next time my car seized up while driving on route 130 . Again the car was brought back in. I was told it was a bad battery ground terminal this time. Paid to replace it. All the while taking it in for appropriate maintenance and service. The engine started burning oil at an alarming rate where I had to check it with every gas stop. I made sure to keep plenty of oil with me in my care for fear that the engine would seize again. When I tell you This car has not been driving right since they fixed it in an understatement. Two weeks ago while backing out of my driveway surprise surprise the car died . Called and Had it towed to them . They for some odd reason insisted on calling my husband for all communications in regards to MY car ! When Iām the one who called and explained what the problem was . He Told my husband that it would cost $120 to take the engine cover off to see what was causing the problem . After doing so we were told we needed a new engine and it wasnāt worth replacing and that he had another car just like mine in his lot with a bad engine too. He went on to explain that this is just what happens to these cars with high mileage . Donāt get me wrong Iām aware this car wasnāt going to last forever however when I pressed him on the issue that there have been multiple issues with my car ever since they forgot to put the oil cap back on and my engine seized. He claims no responsibility and brushed it off.
Iām infuriated because this place has had my car in for repairs 5 times in the past year and then my engine up and dies . Iāve previously asked him about the timing belt and was told no it was fine and there was no need to fix that. Turns out my engine is out of time . I asked him that theyāve had my car in multiple times and there was never any indication that this might happen ? All I got was his generic response that this just happens to older cars! He told me and I quote: ā just give me the title and Iāll take care of it , and weāll call it even for the diagnostic work ā. You wouldnāt be covering anything up would you ?? So shady as far as I am concerned .
Today I went to pick up my belongings only to be charged $200 + for diagnostics ,$63 of which was for reading and clearing a code! The nerve of this guy !
Both my parents cars, my husband and my car as well as my sisters cars have been brought to maple shade auto body for years but we will no longer be giving you our business . Think twice before you bring your vehicle here you may be in the same predicament Iām in where I had to purchase a new car !

Had starter issues and got car towed in that morning. They had my car ready that day and came in clutch. Also I had recently replaced my battery on my Honda and couldnāt find the radio code. They took care of it! Awesome job guys thank you for the great service

They repaired another shops mess up well.
They didnāt call me to authorize repairs, and just did them. I had to follow up 5 hours after drop off and was told work is done, hereās your bill.
I could tell they didnāt test the work, bc my car still shook at high speeds.
Careless customer service to do repairs without quoting me, and not calling me when done. They fixed another guys useless work; but didnāt fix my problem.
I took it to the dealer who diagnosed the rattling issue finally and repaired it. For those 3 reasons I canāt recommend these guys at least for major work.

Nothing but good things to say about this shop. They do quality work at a fair price, and go out of their way to do the right thing. Never had them try to upcharge me or suggest any work that wasn't needed, but at the same time, if something is messed up that you didn't come in for, they'll let you know. If you decide to have them fix it, cool, if not, that's cool too.

What a great experience. No one wants to take their car to the shop, it is usually expensive and there is also the trust factor. My experience at Maple Shade Auto was excellent. I was treated with respect, there was great communication and they did a fantastic job even with difficult issues. My car is purring like a kitten. Don't hesitate, if you need work on your car, this is a trustworthy business.
