I'm appalled by the hostesses and how unaccommodating they are at this restaurant. With so many places to dine, why spend your valuable time and money at a place that doesn't value your patronage?Response to Owner: I recommend you get your facts straight before replying next time. We waited for 30 minutes and were standing in front of a table that your hostess proceeded to give away right in front of all of us. We took the 4 young and hungry kids that were a part of our group elsewhere, where we were welcomed warmly.

Not sure what is going on with this place. Went and was told they did not serve pizza between 2:30 and 4, but I had just been there three weeks earlier eating pizza at 3pm. Never going back. They have lost my business.

Definitely different but fresh good food but to me the dinner is the best time to go. They also have outside seating which is awesomeIn spring/ summer. I highly recommend you try for yourself.

Really great place! There was a wait but we also went on a weekend at 5:30 pm. However, it was well worth it! Pizza is perfect. the team was attentive and polite.

Artie’s is amazing I’ve never had a bad dish. The service is great, too. Literally not a bad thing to say about Artie’s. It’s delicious.

Arties (formerly Arturos) is the best pizza in NJ IMHO. The crust has so much flavor. It is the only pizza my daughter will eat. I like it simple - the margherita pizza is my fave. The Telefono pasta and the orecchiette picante are our favorite pastas. Now that there is more space, we haven’t had to wait during weekend lunch. Dinner is still probably crowded but the wait shouldn’t be as bad. There is a small lot in the back - otherwise you have to search for street parking which can be challenging.

Came in kind around noon on a Saturday in somewhat of a mood, ordered the smoked salmon sandwich and an almond chocolate croissant. Ended up impatiently asking to take order to go and the waitress was quick to rearrange. Much appreciated…should’ve left more than a $1.20 tip ( excuse me kind of a jerk move) but I will return. As for the sandwich itself delicious, flavor wise light, herby and refreshing exceeds expectations.Much thanks to arties and my apology for rudeness I much enjoyed the food. Yum

Great NY/NJ pizza, fresh out of the wood fired oven. Perfect crust, with a slight char, and cheese sauce ratio was fine. Decor was pleasant and roomy. Wish we had one of these in Denver.

Pizza is very good. The sauce is like homemade, fresh and slightly sweet.Update; the new Artie's is a great space. Nice and open, modern, and fresh. Hard to get parking sometimes, so arrive early. Outdoor tables when the weather is nice. The wait staff could use a bit more training to improve service delivery and speed, then I'd give them the full 5 stars.

Vegetarian options: The Vegetarian options on their menu aren't clearly listed HOWEVER as a pescatarian there are SEVERAL options for a vegetarian to chose from on the menu. The dishes are extremely plentiful and delicious. More importantly if you are ever in doubt you can DEFINITELY ask a server and or hostess for assistance. My encounters with the staff has always been pleasant and they are genuinely helpful.

Would have been a five but no longer has the meatball sandwich and now, no longer offers maple bacon pizza.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Was certainly worth the 30 minute drive. The meatballs were so delicious. The pizza was great. I highly recommend this place.
