Wayne accepted the task, took my deposit, with confidence said, “this is an easy, job” assures me he could do it, only to be told weeks later that he could not replace the simple zippers he said he could. And he was rude. NEVER AGAIN, I will continue to support black owned business in my community but not this clown ? sad??????????

It's a shame few local residents know about this little hole in the wall business. I suppose most people go to a dry cleaner for tailoring, but F&W is capable of so much more. The work he did for me was done well, promptly and for a good price, and the guy is just really nice.

I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely HAVE to share my thoughts on this shop! It's going to be a little long, but everyone needs to know about this place, so please bare with me. The owner, Wayne, is AWESOME! His work is A-MAZ-ING! I've never experienced another tailor who has the level of skill that he possesses. I realized that he was the real deal the first time I came to his shop about 2 years ago. I went to see him because he came highly recommended from a friend of mine. And boy, was she right! Wayne was able to fix a problem I had with one of my favorite coats that no other tailor that I took it to could fix. He repaired it like it was nothing. On top of that, he makes suites, dresses, shirts, pants--anything you could name--all from scratch! He's made a few suites and dresses for my husband and I over the years. One of a kind outfits that I know I'll never see anyone else wearing on the streets. But I was compelled to write this review today after my most recent experience with him. I have a special pillow that was gifted to me from a very dear family friend. About 2 weeks ago, my aunt's dog damn near shredded the pillow to pieces (long story). When I say this dog RUINED my pillow, boy, I mean it was HIT! I brought it in to Wayne earlier this week in hopes that he could restore it enough so that it was somewhat recognizable. I knew he had experience in pillow-making because I'd been in his shop when a customer brought in some shirts that her dad had left to her when he passed, but she didn't know what to do with them. Wayne took the shirts and made beautiful throw pillows out of them, so I had faith that he could restore mine. But man, I really didn't expect him to make it look brand new again! I am COMPLETELY grateful for his patience and craftsmanship! I am really in awe, and forever thankful! I never had such neat, consistent and thorough work done anywhere else. This man is DOPE!
