If anyone had asked me to meditate before this year, I would have laughed in their face. I have a very low attention span and find it generally hard to concentrate. My thoughts wander all over the place, but with Jean’s gentle and supportive guidance, I have learned to be more self accepting and within two months I am able to practice half an hour length meditations, sometimes even longer. She has a very calm and peaceful presence and I find her studio to be a sanctuary away from the chaos outside. The drop-in sessions are great - even if you want to join via zoom. If you’re like me and are looking to combat depression or develop a lifelong practice of how to center yourself, Jean is your person!

For the last month my family has met with Jean virtually on a weekly basis for a group guided meditation practice. Some of us were new to meditation and others have honed their practice over the years. Jean made it easy and comfortable and we all got a lot out of our meetings. Each week I was left with new wisdom, a renewed sense of calm, and personal prompts to incorporate mindfulness throughout my day. I recommend Jean highly: five stars are not enough!

I have been fortunate enough to have been part of Jean's Monday morning meditation group for a couple of years now, and I can say without exaggeration or hesitation that it is the one thing in my week I cannot live without. Jean guides the group in mindfulness meditation and also group discussion, and her gentle support and guidance makes the whole thing an incredible way to start the week. It sets me up for a less stressful week, and also has made me appreciate my life more. She is also the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I cannot recommend Jean enough!

I have been a part of Jean’s Monday morning meditation group for over 3 years and I cannot imagine it not being a part of my life. Jean has a soulful, grounding presence. In addition, she offers thoughtful, non-judgemental guidance. Her groups are a special place to be.

Jean is a caring and gifted guide through the experience of learning about and practicing mindfulness and meditation. Her teachings encourage self exploration and acceptance and have a way of settling in and taking hold. Her gentle approach reminds me of how I should approach myself and others and has helped me move towards genuine growth and change.
