This place is no better than the DMV. The women at the front follows her own rules. doesn't call in people based on when they signed in and clearly favors certain people. Very sad to see a business being run like this. Shame on LabCorp for employing people who act so unprofessionally.

I love this place, I’m a hard stick and they know how to draw my blood without sticking me 5 times. With them I’m one and done.

My father just had a major surgery and needed lab work done before the holiday. This location was convenient. I was a little hesitant based on the reviews. Surprisingly I was very impressed by the level of professionalism and compassion from Yajaira (lab tech). She made the process seamless. So thankful for her!

This location never updates the time online, every other month there is new hours and only a paper change never on line changes so many pts always waiting at the door after 2:30pm but office already closed. Not good for patients.

I recently went to a particular location to have my blood drawn, and I want to share my experience. I have a very low tolerance for pain, and I made sure to communicate this to the phlebotomist who was going to draw my blood. As is usual for me, I turned my head away because I can't bear to watch the needle being inserted. However, this time, the pain was so intense that it felt like someone was trying to yank my veins out. I couldn’t help but look and scream because the pain was that unbearable. The phlebotomist managed to fill one vial but mentioned something about a vein “being busted” or similar. Instead of removing the needle to attempt another insertion, she pushed the needle further into my arm, twisting and tilting it, trying to access another vein.During this time, I inquired about the butterfly needle, which I was told they no longer use because the larger needles are more cost-effective. I tried to lighten the mood by jokingly saying that I would buy my own butterfly needles for future appointments if they would let me. I own plenty of needles at home because I do lost of fabric work. The needle used in my arm was the size of the needles I use for sewing leather. After failing to draw blood from my left arm, the phlebotomist decided to try my right arm. At this point, she found and used a butterfly needle. Though it still caused me pain, it was considerably more bearable than the previous needle. The entire experience was extremely distressing for me. I cried during the appointment, and the pain was so excruciating that I felt nauseous and like I was going to vomit and pass out.Oh and it was very weird being told to pick an empty room to go in on my own.The phlebotomist was nice. I was greeted by an older black woman who was very down to earth which was a relief. The receptionist (young Spanish or white lady) that checked my id and insurance card was very rude. She barely wanted to respond to me when I greeted her. We have a voice for a reason, use it. It’s too early to be upset at the world.

I was a walk in and the ladies here were incredibly sweet. I was attended to immediately and any questions I had were answered. I live far away and frankly, if I had to go to Labcorp again, I’d go to this one.

I love this location and the ladies that work here. Most places have a hard time finding my vein and my toddler’s vein so when we go for bloodwork, it is a horrible experience. Thank God we came here and it went so quickly and pleasantly as the lab technician was able to find our veins quickly. Very happy.

Unfortunately, i chose this location for my daughter to have blood drawn only to be met with an attitude because i asked the lady at reception (front window) with the mole on her face a simple question. Sarcasm and nastiness don’t get you far…..i will never come back to this location. LabCorp needs to check on their employees to make sure that they can handle the customer service requirements of their job. There isn’t much organization and people are lost when directed (or the lack there of) where to go once called. LabCorp please do better……

I went Tuesday afternoon and the lobby was packed, so my son and I turned around and walked back out. The next morning i went to a different lab that has gotten great reviews, and it was CLOSED. I told my son that we would give Maplewood another chance, even though the reviews are mostly negative. We walked in and it was only 3 people in the lobby!. The lobby looked and smelled clean. The receptionist, April was pleasant, comedic, and very helpful. I told her I'd write a review because this Labcorp isn't as horrible as everyone made it seem. She said "tell them please!" My tech was Faosot. She was quiet, but then I started talking to her. She was patient with my son, who had to get blood work and was a little nervous. I also told her I'd write a review because they have really bad ones . She thanked me and said sometimes people come in nasty and rude and then lie on them about what actually happens in the lab. I thanked them. And left. It was a very good experience! Thanks April and Faosot!!
