I'm extremely disappointed in my experience with Perch Home events. The events team is incredibly unresponsive - I filled out an online inquiry, sent two follow up emails, called to follow up and finally walked into the store to speak with someone directly but was told to fill out an online inquiry. I then filled out another inquiry and again sent multiple follow ups to NO RESPONSE. This is definitely not the way to run a business. Don't bother trying to work with them, you won't get a reply! I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

I'm almost afraid to write this review because this is such a wonderful place I want to keep it for myself! But Perch Home continues to grow into a delightful jewel in Maplewood Village. The addition of the cafe is spot on! The menu is fresh and yummy and right in tune with the vibe of the store. Coffee bar! Non alcohol mocktails! Homebaked breads. Gelato bar. Everything looked beautiful and tasted better. We sat outside on a delightful patio. We had the sweet potato hash served in a cast iron skillet with home baked bread. Avocado BLT came with a yummy crisp fresh side salad. And the almond flour gluten free waffles were fantastic. There were many items I wanted to try. I will be back! Thank you!! A lovely brunch.

We went there for brunch recently & had a wonderful experience. Miko our server was highly attentive, knowledgeable & patient as our small group tried to navigate the menu to make decisions. The food was fresh and delicious--I highly recommend. Will leave a part 2 to this post once we go back for gelato or mocktails.

Run, do not walk to this amazing restaurant/coffee bar/shop in downtown Maplewood, New Jersey. Stopped in for brunch earlier today and not only were the menu offerings thoughtful and varied, but the dishes were positively outstanding! Oh, and get the strawberry shortcake on the house-made biscuit for dessert!
The service was excellent (and friendly) and the ambiance was nothing short of idyllic; think French Brasserie meets eclectic curiosity shop. Cozy banquets, formidable light fixtures, original artwork and great music blended together for a remarkable and relaxing dining vibe.
Perch Home and Company is the perfect spot to shop, dine or treat yourself to a sweet treat or specialty drink. It’s impossible not to feel like the best version of yourself when you’re there!

Welcome greeting was the best part of our visit. The Recess Watermelon Mojito (attached photo) was undrinkable. It tasted off and had less flavor than cheap seltzer water.
Both cold mixers didn't come with the garnish in the menu. My son requested only one block of ice with his Shirley Temple. The waiter acknowledged it. It came full of ice and without the cherry.
Remove the copious amounts of ice from your drinks.
The milk drinks were tasty (Chai Latte and hot chocolate).

How is it that the quaint gift shop with a small cafe is serving the best sandwich and salads in town? Had a blackberry lemonade and chicken salad on a croissant with a side salad. Soooo good. And the patio is so pretty for an outdoor afternoon late lunch. The inside cafe area is also beautifully done. Baked goods and sorbet as well as mocktails also available.

Perch has always been a beautiful place to visit, and now it is also delicious. The food on their new cafe menu is fresh, tasty and, of course, beautiful. They even have vegan & GF friendly options. Drinks are also wonderful

Had no idea this place was here! Happened to be looking at Google maps and it showed up as an available coffee spot. Thankfully they are open late which too many places aren't around my home base. On this hot evening, nice to be able to get an iced coffee and relax in the breeze. I've got a nice outdoor patio with places to sit and relax. The lady who made my coffee says they also do light brunch or lunch type things. They have pastries and gelato, ice teas and mixed coffee drinks that they call mocktails, which I thought was cool. I'll be back during the day to check them out.

The home necessities are so nice and specially the iced lavender coffee was so good. The chicken burger is delicious. Hats off to the chef! Would and will come back again.
