SOMA Sounds is a fantastic store located at a cool little intersection in Maplewood. The whole store is well stocked and well priced, with an especially impressive jazz section. There is a great selection across all genres, including psych, prog, heavy stuff, and jazz, as well as a great CD selection. Customers can find that one album they have been looking for and leave with a surplus of stuff they are excited to have found. The store has awesome vibes and sweet sounds, with a well organized and artistically decorated interior. The owner is super friendly, nice, helpful, and welcoming, adding to the good vibe. It is a nice chill record spot where customers have to put back items because there are so many great finds.

Fantastic store, always find stuff I've been looking for when I stop in. Jazz section is especially impressive but the whole store is well stocked and well priced. Owner is super friendly, just a good experience every time.

Amazing spot at a cool little intersection in Maplewood. Never been during the week, but the dude on the weekend is nice, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Great selection, good atmosphere. A nice chill record spot.
