What an awful experience. I called to inquire about the price of a blowout and the receptionist informed me it was $35 and after getting my phone number to complete the booking lets me know that there’s notes in my account stating that my appointments take 45 minutes - 1 hour so she would be adding on an extra eight dollars. I asked why as I just have shoulder length curly hair and she said “$35 blowout are for people with normal hair. If you have curly hair, we charge an extra $8”. Implying curly hair isn’t normal?? Are you joking. for reference, I’m not a professional hair stylist and it takes me 45 minutes to blow dry my own hair. I was in the area and was really eager for a blow out so I booked it for 5pm. She calls me back and says come at 5:15, the girl doing your hair is behind schedule. I show up promptly at 5:15 and the scheduled hair stylist was no where near done her current service. I waited patiently until 5:45. The receptionist never followed up with Me, didn’t apologize for the wait time and just continued talking to the other stylists. I walked out and will never return. I understand appointments don’t always happen on time but at least be communicative with your customers. Curly hair is normal hair and if you’re in the industry of hair styling, I find it absurd that was your wording of choice.

Quoted me $30 over the phone to trim up the ends of my hair. Mind you my hair is very short it’s basically shorter than a mullet. After they trimmed the sides the owner charges me $65 for just a cut no blow no wash. She argued that this would be a regular haircut and I’m saving money anyways because I didn’t get a wash. Bad way to do business and keep clients. I will definitely not come back.

I booked a curl appt for my wedding- stylist was 45 min late and took about 15 min in my hair since their other clients arrived. The online appt states this is a 45 min appt. Because of how late the appt went and how rushed it was I wasn’t able to do much before the time of the wedding.Very disappointed because of the lack of care or professionalism since I went to this salon specifically from the reviews.I was given little to no updates about stylist and than was given 15 min standard ringlet curls for 85 dollars- so I guess you can equate to whether that is worth the price or not.Service: Hairstyling

I was treated quite rudely by Ramona. I was on time and stood around at an empty reception desk for her to finish with a client for at least 10 minutes then when she was done she comes over to tell me she can't take my appointment because I was late. I will not return.Service: Hairstyling

Well I used to love this place but it continues to go downhill. Again I got there 10 minutes before my appointment And they told me the stylist was 10 min behind. After another 35 minutes, I had to leave as I had to get to work - with my hair wet no less. I will never go back there again as it seems to be the norm for appointments. No one even called me after I left to see what happened. Terrible business.

This was my first time going to the hair lounge as I was shopping around looking for prices to bleach and color my hair for the first time. I decided on going to the hair lounge as they told me they could process and bleach my hair in one sitting for $300. The entire process took about 7 hours and Nicole, my stylist, was extremely patient. The first issue occurred when we had finally finished doing my hair, and was hit with a $418 payment. The reason I had chose the hair lounge was because of the price and the service I wanted, I felt, I was given a pretty good deal. If I had known from the consultation that it’d cost $400 I would’ve kept looking as I had spoken to other salons that quoted me less. The second issue didn’t occur until 10 days later. I had walked into the salon with an image for reference and explained to my stylist that I wanted my hair to be fully blue. No highlights or ombré. Just blue. Only 10 days later, my hair was extremely light at the middle of my head to the ends, and was green in some areas. I had direct messaged my stylist to see if we could fix it as I had paid a pretty penny for my hair and was super upset, and she had me come in two days later for a free touch-up. I love my hair color now, but if this was done in the first place I would’ve had better things to say about the salon and work done. My stylist was professional the entire time, but I don’t think I’ll be retuning. (The photo is my hair when it was first done. It wasn’t ombré yet, but you can definitely see the green…)

I've been using this salon for blow outs for the past 5 years and have not had any issues until my last 2 scheduled appointments. I had an appointment to have my hair styled before I left on vacation for 5pm on July 24th. About 4 hours before, I received a text message from my stylist that she is leaving early and won't be able to take me. I pleaded for another stylist to accommodate me and was even ready to come in at any time. She just stated that they were busy and left it at just a simple sorry. Since I've been a long time customer, I decided to give them one more chance. I scheduled an appointment for yesterday to get my hair styled for my daughter's birthday party. I arrive and was told that my stylist is running 45 minutes behind and to come back if I'd like. I didn't have time to come back later as I had many other things to do to prepare for the party. And the fact that I was not given a courtesy call prior to my appointment was rude and unprofessional. Prior to these 2 situations, they always had a front desk person who ran things smoothly and was very good with communicating if there were any issues that would affect my appointment prior to me arriving. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back again!!Service: Hairstyling
