I go to the Marlboro location and I cannot say enough about Anthony DeStafano and Nnamdi Inoma. They are amazing! Both are very knowledgeable, customer focused, friendly, proactive, fast, and have a solution for anything you may need assistance with. I've been a member of UTFC since 1982 and I'm so impressed and thankful for the service I recently received from both of them. Technology has changed the world and Nnamdi and Anthony have shown me the way and I am truly grateful. UTFC you have two amazing super stars on your team. Keeping shining Nnamdi and Anthony! Thank you both! You are awesome!

One of the worst credit unions /banking institutions. I have had several issues with this credit union. 1. The first issue was sending my credit card to the incorrect address. 2. After they reissued the credit card they had 2 credit card accounts opened , they never closed the account they issued the incorrect credit card for.3. Several meaning 5 or more of my in branch payments being applied to another account( keep all of your transaction receipts), if I did not have the transaction number I do not believe these payments would have been corrected. 4. Applied for a mortgage only to find out from the loan officer they had 2 credit cards open ( see 1 for details). 5. Late payment fee for a misapplied payment to another account. 6. Most recently I found out I had reoccurring charges I did not authorize on my account. Simply I called the 800 number on the credit card to file a complaint and dispute the charges ( should be a simple call , I spent over an hour on the phone January 2023, ended the call with they will follow up in 30 days about the claim ). In February 2023 I received 3 letters stating the charges are being investigated and they will have a response once they contact the vendor. March 2023, I called because I have not received an update the agent advised the case is still being reviewed until April 11, 2023. I called on April 12,2023 spoke to Dan a Supervisor who tried to assist and apologized profusely but he needed to connect with the fraud department who was having issues with their system. Dan provided me his extension number along with his working hours to follow up the next day. April 13,2023 called United Teletech again was connected to Dan. Dan connected to the fraud department and connected with Maria who advised the case is still being reviewed . I also notice there were adjustments charges from United TeleTech that totaled $188.74 from February 10-12,2023 and then another adjustment from April 12-13, 2023 for $257.63 which now is equivalent to $446.37 in adjusted chargeback. I inquired why have these adjustments to my account Maria said they are still trying to figure out the charges and have not heard back from the vendor, I inquired if you have not heard back from the vendor why are there adjusted charges to my credit card , no answer. I asked to speak to a Supervisor (Matt) in the fraud dept. who would not get on the phone to provide a resolution or an estimated date for when this issue would be resolved. No one from the bank or credit card division has reached out to resolve this issue. The original claim was to review charges totaling around $544.20 now I have additional adjustment for $446.37 . So if you want an unresponsive banking institution to misapply payments, charge your credit card with adjustment and have no clue how to handle a simple dispute claim and impact your credit, then yes continue to bank here.

Had prior loan few years back with no issues. Now applied for a HE loan, we both have excellent credit and no other loans, mortgage or credit card debt, both employed full time, was advised didn't qualify for best rate, questioned why, was advised didn't have 810 combine credit rating with Experian, request loan in one name only since previously had higher credit rating, then pulled our Experian credit rating, our scores were 829(mine)/824, again questioned why, reps advised cant compare commercial pull, what??? Now underwriting approves one name alone for best rate, which makes no sense at all. During this time we applied at another bank for a loan and same ratings came back 829/824 and we have dated docs to prove it. Appears UTF take your credit score and minus 25-30 points!!!!! Now because we questioned them, the loan process was dragged out for weeks, every time a doc was signed was advised had to wait 3-4 days to continue loan process and we had to call to follow up, rep would say "I was just going to call you" every time but she never did. This wasn't the case with the other loan we were applying for but by this time had already withdrawn that application since the UTF loan was approved and we mistakenly assumed would be completed sooner. And the grand finale - was advised the money would be available on 3rd day after signing, but then the money wasn't available and no one, including the manager, could explain why or even acted like they cared. We wish we had withdrawn this loan and continued with the other since that bank didn't decrease our credit ratings or give us the run around. We didn't have time to apply for another loan because at this point we needed the money. SAVE YOURSELF AGGRAVATION AND APPLY WITH ANOTHER BANK.

6 weeks and counting to close the account. No call backs EVER. Keep charging me overdraft fees bc we don't put money in the account bc WE WANT TO CLOSE IT. Already filed complaint with BBB, lawyer is the next step. I guess this bank wants to be Wells Fargo.

Non-responsive staff. Calls are never returned. Don't bother leaving a message. When I say never, I mean never. President does not respond to e-mails. Do not trust these people with your money.

I have an account with UTF for about five years now. They were there to help me when I needed money to fund a business venture and I have used my HELOC whenever my cash flow is short. There rates and fee's are disclosed upfront and in my reasonable. UTF WORKS FOR ME.

My family interaction via phone, internet or in person has always been pleasant. That why we been members close to 30 years. Some family members even longer.

I have been disconnected 3 times trying to get through to this credit union. The worst ever. I have had so many problems with them by phone but the Marlboro branch has nice employees. Over the phone with the 531-8100 forget it.

By far the WORST 'banking' experience I have EVER endured. I'm so upset and disappointed, not to mention BROKE, because of THEM. When my husband convinced me to change to a credit union from my bank, things were different. In the last few months, however,my card has gotten declined EVERY TIME I've attempted a transaction because they need my approval to make sure it's not fraudulent. EVERY TIME. They are not doing this to my husband or anyone else I know! These are stores I frequent every day! They still haven't sent me my new card yet and my card expires at the end of the month! They keep telling me to 'check in by the end of January if you haven't gotten it yet'. Are they kidding?? And here is the final straw: I recently deposited a check via UTF mobile because there is no branch near me (the one close by me closed because of a lack of business). I got a message that the check submitted was approved, and I checked my bank statement and sure enough, there it was. I'm in a financial drought right now so I was desperate for this money. I immediately started paying my bills and I discovered 2 days later that the check hadn't cleared, apparently, and I was hit with over $100 dollars in overdraft fees, and they won't reverse it, and for future reference, I should know that it takes up to 10 business days to clear a check? ARE THEY KIDDING ME?? They are refusing to override these charges. There was no reason to hit me with these fees. I intend to pull my business and bank elsewhere. They say we are 'richer for knowing them'. Quite the contrary. They are crooks. STAY AWAY. I'm by no means in any position to afford overdraft fees when I was told the money was THERE. These people are uncaring and difficult. I'm beyond angry and upset. They can see we are struggling financially and instead of communicating to me that the funds weren't available, they sent me a message that they WERE, then didn't contact me and hit me with fees, THEN, after I called to question it, told me 'oh, you should receive your money by midnight! So I had NO MONEY! I cannot be out this money and I believe this is HORRIBLE business practice, and we used to love this company! I cried hysterically yesterday!

This credit union is very unsettling to work with. First of all, I secured an auto loan from them because it had the best rate, came to find out they make their money back in other ways. Anyway, I got the loan plus my own cashier's check and sent it to the dealership, and the dealership sent the title to utc. At least that's what was supposed to happen. Instead, utc lost the paper work and I had to wait more than 3 MONTHS for a new title from the state. I only went with utc because they were close, and my family was familiar with one of the branch managers. Needless to say after this incompetence, we were no longer familiar with them. I decided to put this behind and just pay the car off quickly. I later found out that they charge you $2 a month or more for paper mail, so I decided to turn it off. A year later, I find that they are still secretly charging me for paper fee! On top of that, every now and then I see a $10 "process fee". This company is scammy at best. I am closing my accounts with them as quickly as I can. Nothing with this company has been simple, pleasant or non headache inducing. Stay away
