Even though I signed electronically for a 9/2 delivery, that same driver came back to my home around 4:30 pm to deliver that small box.
I did not get his name unfortunately but he made my day.

“If I had to say which PO in Atlantic County is my favorite, has to be Somers Point. Larry and his wing woman, always keep the line moving. The manager also comes and takes customers at the side register, it’s one of the busier locations. Sometimes the PO takes abuse, but you can be sure they will be professional, courteous and will get you the best rate for what you’re trying to ship.”

“Good post office. I had to mail a letter to Aunt Patty because Uncle Tony is getting out of prison next month and he's supposed to stay with us until he gets back on his feet. Patty can't afford to support him with her 5 kids and a grandbaby because the state reduced her monthly check to just barely enough to buy crackers and ramen noodles anymore. Aunt Sara says it's because of the Obama administration, but Aunt Marion blames Trump. I used a stamp that had the American flag on it.”

“Shawn was Very helpful!! Our mail had gotten put on hold while we were on vacation, when we got back, we couldn’t get the mail that was on hold. He was able to track down our packages and mail, find the mail carrier and get our mail sent to us the next day. A week long process of making phone calls and trying to get this solved was done by this gentleman in 15 minutes and we got mail the next day. The USPS needs more employees like him!!!”
