ShopRite of Marmora is a well-regarded grocery store known for its clean environment, wide selection, and good prices. The store offers a variety of quality produce and a bakery that receives positive comments. Customers appreciate the cheerful and efficient service provided by the staff, making shopping a pleasant experience. The store's location near Ocean City, NJ, makes it a convenient choice for vacationers looking to save on groceries during their stay. Many shoppers prefer this ShopRite over others in the area, citing its friendly atmosphere and better overall experience. Staff members like cashier Maria are praised for their helpfulness and friendliness, often going above and beyond to assist customers, even engaging with children and making the shopping experience more enjoyable. The assistant manager, Chris, received compliments for his considerate and helpful attitude when resolving customer issues. Customers also value the store's prices and selection, which they find better than nearby competitors like Acme or Wegmans, especially for vacation shopping. However, there are some concerns about store policies and enforcement. One shopper noted frustration with the policy limiting self-service checkout aisles to 20 items, observing inconsistent enforcement and feeling that the rules should be applied fairly, especially during busy times. Despite these minor issues, the overall impression of ShopRite of Marmora is very positive, with customers describing it as their preferred local grocery store for quality, service, and convenience.
