I have been going to D’Bella salon for nearly 13 years. I have seen multiple stylist throughout the years. I have recommended them to family and friends. My husband and son also get their hair cut here. I will never be returning. After my soon to be SIL recently had a hair trial where I was told that the trial is included with the $200 cost of wedding day hair and makeup, she decided she was not comfortable wearing that much makeup or getting her hair done. She was uncomfortable sitting in the chair and being attended to. This was no fault to the stylist who did an amazing job, but just a personal reaction to be touched and made up. The owner has refused to refund the $200 paid up front and is now saying that the total cost was $200 trial and $200 day of. I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding and this was absolutely not the case at that time. I have never been so offended. Additionally, the tone she took was abrupt and rude. I will no longee recommend this business to anyone and will not be returning. I tried to reason with her. I tried to explain that I was a long time client. None of that mattered. I’m heartbroken. I never write reviews but this one had to be done.

The best salon! Andrea does amazing high lights. I will only go to this place to get my hair done. They use excellent products and my hair has been so healthy since going to this salon.

Andrea at D’Bella Salon in Matawan is an absolute lifesaver! My wife needed a last-minute cut and color on a busy weekend, and Andrea kindly squeezed her in. Not only did she manage to work around our hectic schedule, but she also performed magic on my wife’s hair, which had some serious box dye damage. The result was stunning—better than we could have ever expected! My wife left the salon feeling confident and beautiful. Thank you, Andrea, for your skill, professionalism, and kindness. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

I asked for a wolf cut and the lady just cut my hair short and it doesn’t look like a wolf cut at all. The lady doesn’t listen to you and they all just do what they want. I don’t recommend going to these scammers and this terrible salon.

This place is really good. I went there for full highlights and they really did a good job. Jiana did the highlights for me and Andria helped with the last touch up and blowout. They did an amazing job.

I went to do my hair magic slik and it should make the hair straight and its treatment for hair i did my hair and i stay four days after the day i did my hair with magic slik and i took shower it didnt do anything to my hair and i try to call them to take appointments to go to the lady she did my hair she give an appointment and that day the weather was so bed we get snow storm i couldn't take my two children and drive in this bed weather so i try to call them again the lady she did my hair she was busy with clientand the girl she answer the phone she told me she is gonna let her call me and she never did i called them they didnt answer i left them voicemail and i told them to call me they never did i call my bank to get my money back i couldnt get it back this hair slone i dont recommend for anyone to go to bc they are thief

It took me almost 3 years after moving to this area to find a place where a salon could keep a decent hair stylist! AND NOT be OVERPRICED!Karen is a joy! And has given my hair new life!! Just through a HAIR CUT! I PRAY this salon never loses her, PRETTY PLEASE?
