Very friendly staff, a real neighborhood bank the kind you didn't think existed anymore. They don't kill you with fees and high balances like big bank do. Worth looking into for your banking needs.

This is a very reliable bank to use. I’ve never had any complaints with them being a customer. Every single staff member so friendly , The bank has always fully staff easy in -out front and drive-through.

I came in to cash my check today and was advised I need a managers approval. I was advised the manager is outside and will be right back in. I said OK and proceeded to handover my Kearney bank issued payroll check. And the woman who came inside who introduced herself as the manager after reviewing the check stated that she will not cash my check because of the amount which was under 2500 and that she has the discretion to do so. She can also proceeded to tell me she is not and will not authorize it and for me to drive 45 minutes south to the Oakhurst location for them to do it. This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve been cashing my checks with Kearney bank for well over two years now. I can’t help but say that it feels very discriminatory because I know other members of my team have cashier checks at this branch. If you are a POC I hope you are very wary and aware of how certain people treat certain people especially at this branch. Very sketchy practices.

Possibly the best bank I have ever worked with. They understand the customer need and focus on working with the client. There is no employee turnover like Chase and TD. They have better savings rates and actually care about saving you money. So the next time you are at another bank and feel a little uneasy about the person in front of you wearing pajamas, or running into an ex-bank employee at the supermarket who works for a new company and magically has all of your personal information on his personal phone (true story) - remember you can avoid all of that by banking at Kearny.Working with a good bank is paramount - Kearny is that bank.Real people, real results!

My Mom has been a customer of this bank for many decades. She thought the bank manager ( Mona) was her friend. She had called in to make a transfer, like she had done many times in the past. Mona told her no problem, then, when there was a problem with the transfer. Mona then claimed, she'll had never talked with my Mom ? To say I was shocked is a understatement. What warrented this treatment ? Never spoke to her ? We tried to call the bank for the next couple hours and was either told she was on a conference call or would call us back. Which never happened. We'll be closing all our accounts. Do yourself a favor, there are alot of banks out there, stay away from Kearny Bank and especially this branch. Hey Mona, $#&@ you!

I have been to the other branches of Kearney and this happens to be the only branch with rude and Unaccommodating and unprofessional tellers. On a number occasions both my wife and I got to the bank 10 to 15 minutes before closing and were advised that they were closed or met with sighs of disgust. Did you ever think that other people have brutal schedules? We always have to rush to meet your schedule. Other times we were treated like we were criminals and it was not comforting. Last point, the new banks we are with have a 5 star on line system...... not Kearney. Why not? Well after many years with Central Jersey Bank and then Kearney we are now parting ways. We tried to make it work, wish Kearney could have reciprocated the favor.

Worst bank ! In this time of crisis they would not cash a Check after a verbal confirmation from an elderly person who they know for many years because I did not change my name on my license but had plenty if Identification with my married name. I explained I had to get her several things before lockdown and they did not care and the size check was small amount. I hope no one experiences that type of behavior. After verbal confirmation smh?

Having moved to the Matawan area we needed to find a local bank. After checking around, we decided that Kearny Bank might be the one and we were right. Kearny Bank has been around since the 1800's and their branches are staffed by friendly and helpful folks. At the Matawan branch, the manager Mona Cach And Customer Service Rep Robin Martino are the best and will help you with all your questions and possible problems. Ten stars wouldn't be enough for our banking experience here.

Extremely nice & pleasant and very helpful staff. Competitive rates & services. In non-congested area with ample parking. Usually not crowded. Unlike larger national banks, you feel appreciated as their customer. Overall I'm very happy I opened my personal & business accounts here.

I had to take my aunt to the bank, so the bank could help her with her accounts. Being my aunt is older in age she needed help. Mona Cach and her staff were professional and wonderful to my aunt and myself. They are a really friendly bank and the staff knew the customers that came in by name and everyone was wishing them a happy holidays, which was really nice. I feel like you don't see a bank that treats it's customers like one of the family like that anymore. I really recommend banking here in Old Bridge.
