terrible! absolutely terrible! never bring any animal of any kind. We were recommended by our retiring vet and will never come back. the waiting room is small, subjecting our dog to all the other animals waiting - most of which had coughs. On top of that, they triple booked everything so we waited more than an hour. All we needed was flea and tick medicine.

I felt the need to leave a review because in all the years I’ve had working as a vet assistant or in the animal industry alone I have not witnessed such compassion and genuine care. To make a long story short my dog Mirena unfortunately had to be put to sleep and her own vet wouldn’t take her on a short notice even tho she was suffering. I’m terrible with names, but the woman in the photos wearing the purple scrubs made sure that my baby was seen so she wouldn’t suffer, unlike the other places I had called around to. I will be switching over to you guys as my permanent vet for my other babies as well. I just wanted to thank you again for the care and kindness your facility has shown me and my Mirena in her last moments.

Cant find anything bad to say! I had called a few weeks ago when I had an emergency with my dog and they were able to take me in the same day ( Not being a previous client) with no issues at all. Arriving there frazzled with my dog I had forgotten to bring his records from the previous vet and they had no problem reaching out and obtaining them on their own. Not only did they provide great service and peace of mind that day, I had called a few days later concerned that my dog wasn't getting better, Even after the staff confirming it was going to take time Dr. Bach allowed me to come in and examine my pup again just to put MY nerves to rest. Everyone from the receptionist to the technicians even the office manager were all a pleasure to speak to. Will definitely be back and will be referring out to friends and family in need!

The service was ok but the wait times are exceptionally long and the pricing is higher than average. I was fine with all that, but then came the last minute bait and switch after I told them I wanted to order our prescription online. On the spot they switched to an expensive brand that costs 14X more with the excuse of "we can't vouch for whoever manufactures their medications", which is total BS. I suspect in reality is the manufacturer they get a kickback from. Blatant money grab. And on top of that, they hand you a paper prescription instead of approving the meds by phone like every other vet. Plus, when you complain, the vet hides behind his staff, never comes out. Not using them again and would not recommend it to others.

Years ago, Dr Bach teamed up with a pet store which imported puppies from out of state pet mills and issues false fit for sale certificates for sick puppies. He was eventually fined by NJ court and admitted to professional misconduct. Here is the link for the case: Another court case of his unethical act: I too was a victim. I purchased a sick pet from that same store. Dr Bach spayed her, withholding the fact that she was already very sick. She died on his operating table. Adding salt to the wound, he charged me the surgical operation that killed her. Under NJ pet law, you cannot sue a vet when the pet died under the "care" of a vet, unless another vet is willing to provide proof. (Imagine how hard that would be, as they are all in the same field.) So consider twice if you still want to use Dr Bach for his "care".

Horrible !!! Don't go here .. my dog went for an emergency spay and they caused her to pretty much die on the table to then bring her back and cause hearing loss .. they held no responsibility for this they literally sent her home not eating and dying at my home to where I had to bring her back in a bed sheet where they decided to charge me $6,000 to put IV in her arm to feed her because she wasn't eating after what happened they said she's more then likely going to die .. when this was there fault for not giving her enough anesthesia ( they admitted to that though ) I wish I never went to this place my dog will never be the same now and she is only 4yrs old ! Please go to someone who knows what they're doing and save yourself the heartache and money dealing with these non educated people.

I brought my Guinea pig here for his first check up and it went great! I was a little on edge given it was his first time, but the staff was wonderful! The doctor was also extremely nice and gentle, everything went quick and easy. If you're looking for friendly staff for your pets- you found your place!

Bach lied & said my one year old dog had hip dysplasia just so he would profit off the recommended x-rays which cost about $2000. Doctors like this & believe me there are many, care more about money then anything else.

They are incredibly nice and just amazing and caring for our two pets. Owena and Parker always behave so well with them no matter what the visit entails.

I rescued my puppy and found Marlboro Village Vet hospital I have been taking my puppy Chip there for 6 months now. The staff is just so wonderful and caring, the Doctors are terrific. I had just let Chip board there for 5 days and I was so pleased with his care there. The staff is so kind and helpful, I could not think of going anywhere else.

Four Words: Unprofessionally 'Forgetful' and Irresponsible! Took my puppy to this clinic back in April to see about setting him up for a neutering appointment (for the record, this wasn't my first choice to begin with; but I have a Friends of Animals spay/neuter certificate and they were the only vet in my area that accepted it). Brought my dog in for his first visit, and they did well. At the end of the visit, the vet prescribed a flea, tick & heartworm med to my dog for three months, at the end of which time, *HE* would call *ME* to follow up and schedule his neutering. Well, 3 months went by and I never heard from them again. When I called to see what was going on and make sure they didn't forget about us, that was apparently the case, because they booked up the entire month of July. When I tried to schedule his appointment for the following month, I was told that my dog's bloodwork would no longer be any good and I'd have to bring him back to start the whole process again! WTF!?! Obviously, I'm not paying for this again, because you guys failed to follow up with me as expected. I get how bloodwork works, I understand that you'll need it again, but you're not going to charge me a second time because you let it expire! I agreed to come back in and do it again- this time at their Marlboro location, because they wanted my dog to get used to it because that's where he'd be neutered- but when I came in for the appointment that they helped me schedule, they had no record of the appointment! Somehow *I misinterpreted what they said* (I guess "See you Thursday at 3:30" doesn't mean bring your pet in to see us at 3:30??) So I basically drove out there- with my anxious dog who hates car rides- for nothing... Then after FINALLY getting an actual appointment date and follow-up neuter date, I left and drove home. On the way home the Matawan location called me to tell me that it wasn't their fault that his bloodwork was no longer any good, and that I'd have to pay them again! Apparently, in spite of telling me that they'd follow up with my dog and put together his next appointment, they're not the ones who have to call to do just that. What kind of medical practitioner doesn't follow up with their own patients?? Especially when you prescribe a medication to your patient! What if something happened?? If this was a human child, would you give a med and then never make a follow-up or never check in again?! Regardless of species, human or animal, if you tell a patient/customer to wait a period of time before coming back and that *YOU* will call them, then obviously they're going to wait for *YOU* to call *THEM*!! Don't try to turn it all around and blame it on the customer for following directions. Plus, you're going to try to rip me off for MORE MONEY??? I don't think so!! Forget you quacks! One star is far to generous for you guys! If I could give negative stars, best believe I would! Thanks for nothing but a bunch of wasted time and money! I'm going to take my pet to a competent clinic...

I rate marlboro village vet a 5/5 not just for great service but for the incredibly nice staff. Excellent place to take your pet. However, Walter rates it a 2/5 due to not being able to play with the birds

Dr. Bach and his staff provide excellent medical care to my 2 dogs. I would highly recommend them. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.
