Visited my local branch on Main Street in matawan, NJ as I do every Friday but instead of using the drive thru I had to go inside to purchase some Euros. The client service rep and the branch manager were both busy servicing clients. The client rep Carolyn was kind enough to let me know that she would be busy for a while. The branch manager was finishing up with his client but rather than letting his client know that someone was waiting-20 mins total he allowed his client to bs. I stood up a couple of times so that they could see I was waiting to be served, but he allowed the client to talk further. When he was finished the branch manager did not take me immediately but made me wait longer, by this time the Carolyn was finished with her client. I've been a customer of this bank for 20+ years and I've never been treated this rudely by a branch manager. I've got better things to do than wait more than 20 mins to buy some euros.

This particular Bank has been my bank since I moved to Matawan around 30 years ago when it used to be Sovereign Bank . Mostly though Same staff now that it's Santander . They have always been kind and friendly and supportive for whatever situation that I counted financially. always happy always friendly always welcoming. Always helpful.

The staff at this bank always treats me like I'm a family member. I've even had conversations with the bank manager about non-banking issues. Now if only the ATM would do multiples of $10...
