Minimal communication during shipment, no live tracking available. Was promised that the car would NOT leave the truck from Missouri until it reached my house in NJ yet it arrived in a completely different truck and was loaded/unloaded. The driver that dropped the car off was in a rush and forgot to put the car in gear in addition to the e-brake. Car was left in neutral. As soon as he began lowering the bed the car started rolling off and would have been totaled. Luckily one of the foam ramps was randomly sitting on the edge of the bed that caught the car and us screaming that he brought the bed back to level and saved the car. Inches away from disaster and a full loss, no apology from the driver or owner. Wouldn't ship a '99 Toyota Camry with these guys nevermind a 100K Viper. Driver had me jump into the car to put my foot on the brake while he lowered the bed and I had to climb onto the truck and destroy my shoes with bearing grease from the canopy slider on the truck so I had to take delivery of my dream car in socks in the rain in fear of getting grease inside the car. Driver also proceeded to leave both windows down in a supercar in the rain while he unstrapped the car. Paid for Filet Mignon white glove service and instead got a fast food 1/4 pounder. Beyond disappointed and gave my dad and I a heart attack taking delivery of my dream car and ruined the experience.

Don't trust them. They picked up my Lamborghini from the dealership in one truck and showed both the dealership and myself proof of insurance. They took my car to a "hub" and changed trucks, not letting the dealership or myself know and not providing us with insurance. Then to top it off damaged the new window tint job, when there was specific instruction to not roll the windows down. Unacceptable in my opinion and I own a trucking company.

I took a shot in buying an 08 bmw 335xi sight unseen from Vermont. Scrambled around trying to find a car carrier and took a chance with VMS. Well, they tried picking it up the first night, but had a scheduling conflict, but they made good on getting it the following day.The driver that picked it up didn’t speak much English, but that didn’t matter. He cared for my car as if it were his own. I even gave them the option of delivering it to me in a day, but he drove straight to me so I had it that night at 12:30!I’d use this company again and I’m glad I found a company like this that I could trust. Thanks guys! Sometimes you have to shop out side of your area to find the best deals and the best cars and VMS made that possible for me.

I called these guys thinking they were part of a brokering to transport my car cross country. I was mistaken and it was not them at all. However, the level of professionalism, advice and help they offered me was better than the company I was stuck using for thousands of dollars. The guy I talked to had integrity and obviously cared about the industry he was part of. I sure wish I had used them......

Do not use this company. They were contracted through a company that I hired to move a vehicle and a trailer with four ATVs on it from Arizona to New jersey. Upon arrival the trailer had been damaged in transit. VMS agreed to pay for the repairs and said the check would be in the mail that day. 3 weeks later and still no payment and they will not return phone calls or respond to emails. Extremely unprofessional and now have to seek further action to get payment.Update. Only after posting the review I was contacted by the owner the very next day. Not surprised. He claimed to be unaware that we have been trying to contact them for payment. He asked that I remove the negative review and rating. The fact of the matter is that the damage occurred and they completely ignored our attempts to reach them. Payment has been received but my review of the company stands as is.

Dishonest and unreliable. Here are the facts; I contacted VMS Lux on 7/25/22 for a quote to transport two vehicles across country from West to East coast. The man I was communicating with gave me the option of "open trailer" or "enclosed trailer" pricing and assured me he could deliver by 8/19/22, I chose open trailer. Note, I was giving him 24 days notice to make arrangements and confirm my reservation because I know the logistics of how this process works, planning ahead is required. I asked if I could pack the car with some items, he said yes and no price difference. He asked for payment IN FULL to him on the day of pickup (first red flag), Venmo or Zelle only, no cash or cashiers check, credit card has a fee. On 8/10/22 I thought I better email VMS Lux to find out when/where to meet the driver, he told me to call the driver direct but to have the vehicles packed and ready to go Sunday night for pick-up Monday 8/15 by noon. At 1pm on Monday, dispatch called and said now 3-6pm pickup, ok no problem. At 6pm I called the driver directly, he asked if I was paying cash, I said, "no, I was not allowed to pay cash" he said sorry not today and that VMS never should have told me Monday. So, Monday - NO SHOW. I emailed VMS to explain - he said mechanical issue (second red flag), maybe Tuesday 8/16. I called the driver Tuesday, he said not today, mechanical problem and not sure when. Tuesday - NO SHOW. At this point, I was already calling other transport companies but it would be 4-6 days out to schedule plus 5+ days transport so my original date of 8/19 was never going to happen. Finally on Tuesday, VMS admitted via email that enclosed trailers is his specialty and he was trying to find a new driver but now needs to charge extra to pack the car (cars have been ready and packed for 2 days and cannot unpack). I told VMS to cancel this order, I needed to find another option. VMS was dishonest with me from the start and never should have offered me the option of open trailer and never should have taken my reservation or agreed to my delivery date. I fully understand that weather and mechanical issues happen, I also understand how drivers bid on cars at the terminals (cash payers get first in line) and how brokers work. Based on the dysfunction, excuses, payment methods, and finally the admittance of VMS knowingly selling me something he does not offer, VMS attempted to make a lot of money off this transaction, plus the extra charges for the packing. VMS didn't even bother calling the driver to let him know I cancelled because the driver called me on Thursday 8/18 indicating he was now ready to pick up my vehicles. Unbelieveable! Sadly this was a referral from someone familiar with VMS, not an internet lead or call center. The referral source and VMS are both deemed unreliable. I would like VMS to reimburse me the $416 I had to spend on a rental vehicle while waiting for the vehicles to be delivered from another transport company.
