I visit this location at least once a month and ALWAYS bring new friends! I applaud their efforts to rescue farm animals and provide them with a sanctuary to live out the rest of their lives peaceably. Each visit I have a favorite experience with a different animal. Visit Sundays or Tuesdays (FREE?) and pay $3 per bucket for fresh cut food (which helps to sustain the care of these animals). Bravo Funny Farm! ???

All the people and animals are so friendly! The animals seem to know they were saved and are super sweet! What a great place to take the kids.. hayrides, demos, picnic area....Keep an eye on your lunch, though..an emu or goat may help themselves!

Funny Farm is amazing! They help both animals and people . They give opportunities for people to give back and share the love they have for animals and nature with others and they rescue the animals that need a second chance and provide a wonderful life for them. I love that this place is so close to our community!

I can't say enough good about the farm itself, and more importantly, the animals. They all seemed happy, healthy, and well cared for. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was beyond impressed with the owner and her passion for animals. I was really touched by everything I saw. This should be on the must visit list for anyone who truly loves animals or anyone who wants to see humanity at its best.

This is a great animal sanctuary. They have lots of animals which are taken good care of. You can also feed them which is fun. Overall I'd recommend it.

Always an enjoyable experience. The animals were curious and friendly. The weather was perfect. The volunteers were amiable and ready to answer questions about the myriad rescued birds, sheep, goats, donkeys, etc. Definitely worth the drive!

I really loved my experience at the farm. The animals are so friendly as are staff. It's a little sad because some of the animals clearly came from terrible situations and your heart breaks a little. But what an amazing place this is.

As soon as we finished reading Laurie Zaleski's nonfiction book, Funny Farm, my husband and I wanted to visit this amazing animal sanctuary in person. We visited on a Sunday as Laurie did her weekly Facebook live event. They filmed us feeding Emily the Emu and some ducks. We were very impressed by the care shown by the volunteers and staff toward the animals. The rescues clearly felt loved and comfortable here. We enjoyed interacting with animals and learning more about them in this Noah's ark. The baked goods (prepared and donated weekly by a volunteer) were delicious! We devoured fresh blueberry muffins and lemon pound cake for lunch. We even got to pet and thank Farley, the Australian shepherd dog and unofficial field manager. The cockatoo was a hoot! The sanctuary is free to visit and is open two days a week. Donations of cash, supplies and volunteer time are greatly appreciated.
