“Our experience with Beginners First Academy has been truly wonderful. After having a very difficult experience at a previous daycare, where our daughter was sometimes treated harshly and we were concerned about the way children were spoken to, we were very cautious when choosing a new place for her. Because of that experience, finding a daycare where she feels safe, supported, and respected was extremely important to us.

From the moment we enrolled her at Beginners First Academy, we noticed a significant difference in the environment, communication, and overall care.

The staff at Beginners First Academy are kind, attentive, and genuinely caring toward the children. One of the things that reassured us the most as parents is the transparency. Parents are allowed to come into the classrooms, and on several occasions we arrived to pick up our daughter and found her being warmly cared for by her teachers.

One moment that stood out to us was when our daughter was not feeling well during the day. When we arrived, we saw her sitting on a teacher’s lap being comforted and hugged. As parents, seeing that level of compassion and attention meant a lot to us. It showed that the teachers truly care about the children’s well-being and treat them with patience and kindness.

Communication is also excellent. The staff consistently update us about anything that happens during the day, including small incidents or concerns, which makes us feel involved and reassured that our daughter is safe and supported.

Another thing we truly appreciate is that the center is always trying to improve. They started as a 3-star program in Grow NJ Kids and have now achieved a 4-star rating. This shows their commitment to continually improving the quality of their services and the care they provide for children.

The team is knowledgeable and clearly understands child development and early education. It is evident that they care deeply about the children and genuinely try to provide the best care, support, and learning environment possible. The center is clean, organized, and their policies are clearly explained and discussed with parents before enrollment, which made us feel comfortable and informed from the very beginning.

Most importantly, I feel happy and confident sending my daughter there every day. They treat all children and families fairly and with respect.

A special thank you to Ms. Lauren and Ms. Maddie, who are my daughter’s main teachers, as well as Ms. Judy for their kindness and dedication. I would also like to thank the owners for being so involved and truly caring about the center and the children—Thanks to Ms. Erica W. and Ms. Erica S. for the amazing work they do. We also appreciate all the other teachers and staff members at the center. If we did not mention every name, it is not because they are not valued, but simply because these teachers interact with our daughter the most and we have personally witnessed the extra care they provide.

Since starting at Beginners First Academy, our daughter has been happy, excited to go to daycare, and comfortable with her teachers. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than dropping off your child in the morning knowing they are entering a place where they are respected, cared for, and genuinely loved.”
