This store is excellent for ordering wood, shop the store for all your woodworking needs, and then just pull around the side, and the guys will help you load the wood into your vehicle.

I rarely feel compelled to write a business review, but my experience with Patty at Carter Lumber in Medford absolutely deserves recognition. Patty went above and beyond, taking the time to thoroughly answer all my questions with honesty and insight. Her professionalism and approachable demeanor made me feel truly valued as a customer. My husband got to the store 10 minutes before closing time and the doors were already locked. The women locking up refused to help and said they always close early with an attitude. If the posted business hours are till 5:00pm then why are the doors locking up by 4:45? No one picks up the phone either. My review is based on principle and bad customer service. We are in the thick of construction and really needed more materials. Very let down.

Was told a price per square foot on baseboard. I realized 2 hours later the bill was higher than price the woman told me. I called and she insisted the price is what she told me. I repeated the price and she confirmed. Bad business to not admit you told me the wrong price or to admit you charged the wrong price. Disappointed because my contractor sent me there.
