“Inside the store is nice but why do people just abandon their vehicles at the front of store ? There's plenty of parking and clearly marked yet people just pull up, abandoning their vehicle at the front of store. What is that about ??? No other stores allow but I have seen this at Murphy's. I have traveled around America and shopped at lots of stores but this entitlement takes the cake. I worry about going in a Murphy's because the front is actually a fire lane so what if there is a fire ? I'll go to ShopRite or Acme instead.”

“I love ur store!I’ve been shopping there for 3+ years and have brought ‘MY TRIBE’ who have all become regulars. I LOVE ALL OF UR FEMALE STAFF THAT WORK THERE!!! THIS IS NOT A SEXIST REMARK!! Just my observations. The men/boys - not so much. Generally speaking about the boys; they are NOT FRIENDLY or HELPFUL and no personalities! No greeting and when asked a question - I get a grumpy unintelligible answer making sure I know that I’m bothering them!! In complete contrast to the female staff who are friendly, helpful (Wendy who is, hands down, ur SUPERSTAR!!!) She always knows where everything is and how much stock u have. ALWAYS a big smile and a welcoming Hi Paula!! She’s happy to see me and wants my business. Also , the gal out on Maternity leave: pregnancy & motherhood have brought out her softer side which is great!! There’s a newer black woman who’s wonderful!! Always a big smile & greeting! I can’t recall her name either. There’s also a white woman - a bit older than the other ladies/ always helpful as well!! U have a good thing going and good prices - although they’ve been going up quite a bit and often. The quality of ur produce has really been going down which is very upsetting bc my family eats only fresh produce! I make a big salad every night and always a fresh side. I hope you’ll keep an eye on that as I have heard many comments from patrons saying the same thing while we’re over there picking through the fruit & veggies. And please take a look at ur male emplyees - they need some additional training and good customer service role playing!! I always found that role playing was an excellent tool to help improve employees greetings, conflict resolution, and answering customers questions. It gives them a chance to ‘try it on for size’ and get comfortable with new skills. Just make sure they know it’s an expectation - NOT A SUGGESTION!! LOL. I want to thank you for a great alternative to the higher priced grocery chain stores!! And a friendly and helpful staff for the most part!! Just get those boys in shape so the girls can stop showing them up!! Sorry for the length of this feedback! I’m passionate about my food & where I shop!! Warm regards, Paula G. “Great prices on some fine products that have become staples in my house. The dairy is great; some of the produce selections are nice (varies); lots of surprises in the floor freezer; and Aldi's finds are always interesting. My shopping list always has a section reserved just for Aldi.”

Walmart just launched Realm, its new 3D online shopping platform. To help you visualize what that means, imagine a virtual mall packed with bright colors, wacky landscapes, and cartoon avatars wandering around. Realm lets you browse "digital doubles" of real Walmart products by navigating through several make-believe worlds. "We believe this is the future of commerce," said Justin Breton, who leads brand experiences at Walmart. "It won't replace our website or app, but will complement them."
Target's new low-cost brand Dealworthy is rolling out this month in stores and online. With items starting at under $1, it is aimed at budget-conscious shoppers. The low prices on basics like phone chargers, paper plates and underwear will likely appeal.
Walmart is growing the number of its physical stores across America. The retail giant announced plans to open 150 new U.S. stores over the next five years while remodeling 650 current locations. Popular Florida-based grocery chain Publix is venturing into uncharted territory - Kentucky. Come 2024, Publix will unveil its inaugural Bluegrass State locations, comprising six stores sprinkled between Louisville and Lexington.
