Honestly this place isn't even worth a star, so the only reason there is one, is because I wasn't able to submit w/o giving one. Let us just start out by i WISH i had read all the other reviews BEFORE i went into this tacky knock off of a high end "boutique" Besides the musty smell of the store and the owners attitude which was completely rude from the second we walked into her "store". She kept saying how she has been there for 30+ years (the only reason i can think she has been around for so long is because she must have been more pleasant back in the day) because she wasn't when we went in. I was visiting a friend in nearby Mt Laurel and we decided to check some shops out near her area (this is one store i wish google HADN"T suggested) I am not sure if it was because of my tattoos or what caused her to signal me out and be down right nasty (she wasn't rude to my friend or the other woman that was in the store) she kept suggesting that i go back to her clearance rack and how her stuff was high end (basically insinuating that i couldn't afford to shop in her dirty little store) she kept telling my friend that she was so little and all the "rich" people wear small sizes, ( I am not that big, i wear like a size 10), again suggesting the "clearance" rack to me" (i think she would have been surprised to realize i wasn't "poor") she then proceeded to follow ME through the store while stuffing her face (with what i am guess was her lunch) like i was actually going to steal some of her junk, and going on and on and on about how her store was so high end. I was looking at the men's section, and she proceeded to yell that i was in the men's section. i advised her that i realized that, and i was looking at stuff for my son. (Again, i got the "clearance" option) To be honest, you couldn't pay me to even buy anything from this rude woman. I had to leave before i said something that i would regret, LOL to be honest, save your gas, time and money and hit a thrift shop, where you will find a BETTER selection w/o the high price or the rude attitude of this nasty bitter woman.

I have to be honest, Irinas is not for everyone! The shop owner knows this and she is very upfront about that, which may offend some people. She is honest and cares about what her customers buy, but it’s how she makes a living so of course the main thing she cares about is YOU BUYINGGGG!!!$$$$ She always walks me through every step of picking things out, and will tell me honestly if the item fits me or not! Things are affordable for designer brands but don’t expect Shein prices. If you go in and don’t find something you like, face it, you have zerooo taste! Irina knows that as well and she will make it known! Love you Irina, thank you for always keeping it real!❤️

The owner was extremely rude to us after I asked the price of a bag, mentioning how we looked too poor to afford any of the items and told us not to touch any bags as we would only “dirty” the shelves she worked so hard on and that we should spend most of our time in the clearance section. After asking my girlfriend whether I should purchase the bag, she took the bag from me and told me that I can not buy it and should instead go to the thrift stores down the street. This was obviously her being racist as she treated the white women shopping before us with nothing but kindness (even after they bought nothing!) but apparently I- an Asian man- was not good enough to shop at her store. I should have listened to the other reviews and realized this is not a safe place for POC to shop.If we are talking the inventory it was fine but she did insist that “all items for sale were authentic designer” but I would say about half were knock offs, especially the Burberry bag labeled Durberry’s

First of all, Irina isn’t too nice of a person. Wasn’t thrilled with her attitude especially just trying to casually browse the store. Second of all, it’s not that nice of a store anyway so I’d recommend other places to try to find items you can find at full price boutiques. I like vintage items and when I asked if she had any vintage Prada, she laughed and was clearly mad I mistaken her for some kind of thrift store.

Irina’s Closet in Merchantville, NJ is a little Treasure Trove of a Consignment Shop/Boutique that my mother&I found between 11&13 yrs ago&We were HOOKED from that 1st Visit/Experience&Still try to make a visit to this Hidden Wonderland ANY Chance We Get! Looks are deceiving as this store appears small from the outside but,isn’t AT ALL& is PACKED W/CHOCK FULL OF EVERYTHING&THEN SOME! Irina’s got REAL FUR COATS& HATS,Designer Bags,Along w/Fine Leather Purses as well.Too Many Clothes to look through in just 1 visit,not mentioning EVERYTHING ELSE! Idk where this 1 woman show finds The IMMENSE AMOUNT OF MERCH.She Does but,SHE IS A POWERHOUSE OF A WOMAN&SUCH A KIND&GIVING SOUL! Did I mention Also What a WONDERFUL HOSTESS SHE IS TOO?! Greetings to her Customers often come w/Champagne.Let me get back to her inventory though,Scarfs,(Designer&Off Brand, BUT ALL AMAZING QUALITY! She has TOO MANY SHOES,HEELS,PUMPS,BOOTS,SNEAKERS,(A lot of which are Designers I.E TORY BURCH, MANOLO BLANICK,YSL,DVF,ETC….There’s So Much More!Did I Mention Clothes Galore???!!! Whoever hasn’t heard of or been to this once in a lifetime find of a Dream-Land of a Shop I Implore You to RUN,DON’T WALK&Def. Bring a little Extra Back-Up $ because You’re in for Such a Delightful Experience&Will walk away with THE BEST OF THE BEST&At Reasonable Prices.I Almost Forgot,If You would like to bring some of your Fine Items to Consign There,like I said SHE DOES IT ALL!!! Irina even gave Me her Personal Cell # incase I wanted certain items& said She’d look for them for Me! NO-ONE TREATS CUSTOMERS LIKE HER&GOES ABOVE& BEYOND LIKE THIS BEAUTIFUL 1ST CLASS WOMAN DOES! I would never go to this store again. The owner simply plays "nice" but is as rude and prejudice as they come. As soon as I came in the store she stared at me making me immediately uncomfortable. Took a while to acknowledge me and then decided to greet me. I could tell that during that time she was making a judgment on me and was confirmed by her comment stressing that her shop sold designer clothes and that the clearance space is in the back. I usually brush things off like this as there are people like this all around. But the longer I stayed the more I wanted to leave. And when I did her demeanor was cold as if I wasted her time. The shops itself was OK. It is the owner that I did not care for. I prefer to give my business to someone who will be well receiving of it.
