First let me start off with very clean shop, professional, reminds me of what a salon should be. However this my first silk press ever got this done back in September I knew my price going in but everything additional was an up charge $20 for a trim or my ends in the middle of my service is a little ridiculous. The reason for my review is that my hair has been falling out and getting thinner ever since I’ve went I was a natural girl all my life so for one silk press to make clumps of my hair fall out is a bit alarming, and to still be dealing with my hair falling out in January is scary. I Love the atmosphere and what it gives, but I will not be returning.

I have been going to this Salon for almost a year now and I love Aleta! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and takes pride in her salon. She is always positive and pleasant and my hair always comes out looking great! Very glad to have found this salon!

Listen if you want your stylist to be at the salon when you arrive, find another salon. If you want starter locs don't get them here. I paid 200$ for some two strand twists braided at the root(something I could've done myself). I feel like she didn't listen to what I wanted, I'll admit i didn't exactly know what I wanted at first BUT once I did she still didn't do what I asked which she should have for the price I paid. She insisted on two strand twists starter locs since my hair was long in her opinion...instead of coiling the twists at the root she braided it. I don't want no braid/twists starter locs. I thought it was lazy on her part to do what served her best instead of listening to me. I'm tired of stylists not listening to their clients.

I will never go again... I have been to this salon twice and i will never go again. First the appointment was at 1:45pm I didn't leave until 6pm and is wasn't because my hair took long she didn't even start doing my hair until 4pm. The same thing happened the first time I came. The owner likes to double book to make more money. Second I hate the way the owner does her retwist she don't crochet so the retwist comes out within days....never again
Stylist: Do go here it's not worth the cost if the owner does your hair

Awesome Salon. This salon is a one stop shop. There is a boutique as you enter where you can get jewelry, hats, and purses. The salon has experienced stylist that can provide any service you need. They are very knowledgeable of hair care and ensures you leave looking and feeling your best. I have been there multiple times getting services such as silk press, braids, two strand twist, and rod sets . This team never disappoints. The salon is located in Moorestown mall so I love their availability including the Sunday hours. If you are looking for a new hair stylist, purse or a gift for a friend stop by Salon Styles by Aleta in Moorestown Mall. They are located right outside Homesense.

First time getting Loc’s and going through with it. The entire staff made sure I was comfortable and recommended their professional opinion and I listened. I’m super happy and excited. Time flys by when you have amazing people who can have good conversations as well. If you’re thinking about starting Loc’s this is the place. These lady’s were helpful and resourceful.

Salon Style is definitely my number one place to get my hair done and also my daughter I must say they are friendly warm welcoming they make you laugh and always give us encouraging words. It’s not only a place to get our hair done but I must say they are family, thank you for the great work and trust me they make you look good thank you so much for the great work. I love it here ! My hair is sooo cute ! Flip over knotless braids very demur ! The owner was very pleasant , communicated with me every step of the way .. My appointment was at 1:30pm and started at 1:30pm !! She washed/deep conditioned my hair first and then trimmed my ends . I’m tender headed lol , but these braids don’t hurt and my scalp isn’t red … the atmosphere was relaxed.. definitely recommend this shop

I’ve been looking for a salon that does natural hair for my daughter and I. We found salon styles and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and educated on natural hair and growth, not just styling. Our experience was greater than what was expected and we will be returning.
Requested style: We got a retwist and style for our locs. My daughter is tender headed and we had no tears and she loved her style.
