This is our go to branch. Although we have a branch closer to our house, this is the branch with the most knowledgeable people. Especially George Miller. He has been our go to person at provident for years!

I was just denied my own money because the lady at the counter did not like the way I signed my signature. I’ve been harassed at more than 5 provident banks. Also a regional manager was in there, his name is George I believe. He actually set up my account when I first opened one back in 2018 at the Amboy Ave Edison location. But regardless, he definitely heard the ridiculous woman’s response to my signature and did nothing. I could not take out my own mo yea today. Horrible customer service. I can never take my rent money out in peace at any provident bank location. Do better! You guys really need training.

I have been banking with Provident for more than 15 years. All the branches I have been to were very friendly and courteous. This branch, however, was not. The teller or anyone in the branch greeted me, even though there was no one in the branch. And when I got to the teller, she was very rude. She treated me as if I was going to rob a bank. The teller next to her was also very rude. She was staring at me whole time with suspicious eyes. With todays experience, I wondered if I should continue to bank with them. If I lived near this branch, I would switch my bank.
