Came in today for the first time. The lady who helped me was absolutely amazing and very accommodating and knowledgeable. I wish I had gotten the lady’s name as she was absolutely amazing - friendly and personable (I was in around11am/12pm if that matters). I’ll definitely be back for my next pair

Rob was super knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with myself and my parents. We needed walking shoes for a long trip, and he helped us each find a pair (or two!) that felt great and worked for us. He also helped with socks and new insoles. We will definitely be back in the future and recommend this store for anyone looking for expert help finding high quality walking or running shoes!

I had a great first experience at runners high in metuchen! I have a lot of pain walking and I’m flat footed, looking for a shoe that was right for me! Paolo gave individualized attention to each guest in the store and helped me find a shoe that is perfect for me. I can’t wait to break these shoes in and thank you so much Paolo for your knowledge, kindness and attention to detail!

The staff really find the perfect shoe for you. They ask you a bunch of questions to help you fit your needs and show you the best options. I love they give you time to make the right choice

Great little store for anyone looking for running shoes or gear. The fitter I worked with was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He took his time evaluating what I needed and I was very happy with the shoes he recommended.

I get my sneakers here every year. I'm not a runner, but you can't beat these types of shoes for comfort. The staff is very knowledgeable and can recommend shoes based on your gate and walking style.Update: went back in 2023, and they were just as helpful. They also had the trendy Hoka sneakers in stock.

Currently training for a half marathon. Bought myself some asics novablasts as trainers but was getting really bad shin splints with them. Went in to Runners High and worked with Rob who was able to assess my feet and get me a properly fitting shoe that also helped resolve my shin splints. I went for a 10 mile run the other day with no shin splits or pain. Will for sure be bringing friends and family back here!

I have been buying my running shoes at the Metuchen store for a number of years now. When I walked in the door Frank looked at my feet and said, "Clifton 8...what size". I was wearing Hoka Clifton 7s. He grabbed the shoes and I had them on in under 2 minutes. He discussed the similarities between the 2 models with me, a quick jog down the block, and I was good to go. Thanks to Frank and I have never been disappointed.

Outstanding sales woman. Got me the type of shoe I needed and my recovery is better then it has ever been. I can run more and less soreness the day after God bless her and the Hoka’s.
