After experiencing a chimney fire which, luckily, we were able to extinguish, we called Mason's to come and inspect. Ed, using video technology was able to show us the exact location and extent of the damage. We decided to have the entire chimney torn down and rebuilt new brick by brick from the ground up. Ed, Rich, Nate and Gavin working as a team accomplished this with beautiful results and installed a vastly superior flue system and stovepipe than what we had previously.
It was a pleasure to know these guys and have them on our property and in our home working everyday for three weeks until the job was completed. They were very respectful and cheerful and cleaned up at the end of each day so that one would never know they'd even been here!
We will continue to use Mason's Chimney Service, a family owned business since 1955, for future cleaning and inspection and highly recommend them for any work involving fireplace, chimney or ducts.

We couldn’t be happier with the work that Ed and is team did. One of the most professional contractors I’ve ever dealt with. Constantly on time and cleaned up after every day and they even cleared branches off of my roof! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company

Had them out to sweep, inspect and install a chimney cap. Very courteous, professional, and kind. They answered my 5 year olds innumerable questions and loved on my dog as a bonus.

Audubon, NJWe highly recommend Mason’s Chimney Service. They found a dangerous structural issue that a previous company that inspected our chimney did not. Mason’s repaired the issue, then installed a Ahren Fire system and new gas log set. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They are detail oriented and communicated with us throughout the entire job. We appreciated that they kept their work area outdoors and inside the home very clean and protected. We couldn’t be happier with our new fireplace and are relieved that the flaw was found. This could have prevented a very devastating situation. We are so grateful. Mason’s Chimney service is not just a company of honest, reliable workers, but they are also great people. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I can not say enough about Ed and his wife. Very Professional and thoughtful. Ed is a man who takes pride in his work. This is something very hard to find today. We moved into our home two years ago and Ed told me last year I may have to only be serviced every other year. When he came he was very honest telling me what I needed to do to save money and that I did not need him this year. Ed knows his craft and cares. I told him he's my guy for life and I won't go with anyone else! If you want a good man, professional, knowledgeable and someone who cares then Ed is your man!!!! And we love Ed's wife too. She is a joy to speak with and always there to help us and guide us through any questions we have while Ed is working. Thank you guys so much!

Rich and Ed were great from the start with explaining what and how they were going to do. They were very forthcoming with their timeframe. They cleaned up the job everyday inside and out. They answered all questions throughout the construction process as well as procured all required permits. These guys are definitely old school and believe in taking care of the customer and respecting the customer and their home.I would very highly recommend them to anyone. They did excellent work - see attached photos.

They do a great job and more importantly have the expertise and years of experience desired when dealing with a structure or stove that can be so dangerous if not maintained properly. And they are very nice to deal with. Been working with them over 15 years.

Ed was kind, professional, very knowledgeable, and very patient and helpful with my limited knowledge and many questions. Ed helped me understand what a level 2 inspection shows, and what I needed to do if I wanted to convert my (very old and unused) gas fireplace back to a wood burning fireplace. Highly recommend.

It’s taken me a while to post this review (sorry Ed!). Mason’s did a FANTASTIC job removing the old insert that wasn’t to code, putting in a new liner in the chimney, and a new wood burning insert. I couldn’t be happier with their work. This is a true family run operation and everyone was friendly and courteous. Ed’s brother even helped me remove a stripped screw from another project I was working on. I cannot recommend this company enough!

They were great! Gave me a quote. Showed up when they said they would. Did the job. Charged me the quoted price. It looks great. No more leaking. I really love the fact that it's a family business and they've been in business for many years. I would highly recommend Mason's Chimney Service.

My wife and I bought a lovely older home. It had been empty from a foreclosure for several years and we bought from a flipper. We decided to have a thorough inspection of the fireplace (and glad we did). Ed explained in great detail why it wasn't safe to operate and provided a comprehensive proposal to do a complete overhaul.We are SO happy with the work performed by Ed and Rick, brothers carrying on the family business. Top notch materials, and expert installation by a friendly, knowledgeable and professional team. I echo what everyone else says about their clean-up, it was amazing. Each day, they cleaned up meticulously and when they were finished, there was no trace they had ever been there. I will continue using them for maintenance and cleaning in the future, and can't recommend them more highly for any needs you have for your fireplace!

We are very happy we hired Mason’s Chimney Service. We had Mason’s rebuild the top half of our chimney, replace the firebox with an Ahren-Fire firebox, and install a stainless steel flue liner. We also had them remove an unused furnace chimney, which included filling the hole in the roof where the chimney had been. They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to work with. We were extremely impressed with Ed’s knowledge and expertise. He knew more about fire codes and safety standards than other contractors we spoke with and he anticipated some issues specific to our chimney. If we had gone with another contractor, we would have either sacrificed safety or been charged for additional work that Ed already accounted for during his initial visit. I’d highly recommend their services.
