A dealer and another repair shop said a new engine was needed on my 2013 Prius V; the latter offered to “dispose” of car at no cost (I suspect they would have repaired and sold it). Extensively researched shops specializing in hybrid engine repairs:

Kyle, Walko Hybrid Technician fixed my car in 2 weeks (after sitting in my driveway, for 1 year). Asked me for car symptoms:
• Check engine light displayed;
• Engine revved, without me pressing on gas;
• Jack hammer or slight fluttering noise, when accelerated from a stop (due to coolant leaking into engine and then drying up); and
• Diagnostic codes from my T-Mobile tool (engine misfires).
He provided details and pricing for me to make needed decisions. After repairs made, my car drives like new, even though it has 226,000 miles:
• Head gasket replaced;
• Water pump replaced;
• Brake master cylinder module replaced; and
• Damaged engine cylinder repaired by machine shop.
Any NJ hybrid owner, who needs car repairs should go to Walko. You won’t regret it!”

The staff and manager (I believe his name was Terrell but I may be mistaken) were super helpful and met all my needs even though they were busy. They got everything fixed pointed out problems that I had time to think about to get done and made sure the price was perfect. Def makin them my go to spot for my car!”

“Came with urgency since my exhaust broke on a Sunday night, they were willing to look and give me enough to bit before doing the work. I thought it was going to be a bigger job but they only replaced what needed to be replaced. I asked if they had time to look at another part of my car, and they were even willing to do that at work. Finally, they found a slightly in a brake line and brought it to my attention, and of course I asked them if they would do that too. “I had an excellent first experience today with this facility from speaking with the receptionist the first time to dealing directly with my mechanic ( Greg) thru my process. everyone here are very professional, kind & care about their clients. I brought my 2006 pontiac G6 for repair ( wouldn't start)Greg immediately call me & what was the issue with the car. I've been a premier member of AAA for the past 3 years and I truly trusted AAA in getting my car repair.after several occasions of getting stuck with my vehicle & spending in a period of 1 year over 5k on repair & the real problem never got fixed. Finally this past weekend while looking for a mechanic came across this wonderful & honest repair shop. My only regret was no knowing sooner about Rayco. I would like to personally thank everyone involved in the process of getting my G6 fixed, specially Greg who was very professional & knowledgeable of my vehicle issues.
Going forward Rayco will be my go to repair shop for any of my vehicles.

“Excellent customer service and mechanical work! They saved me THOUSANDS! How you might ask?? Story time! My son jumps in his '14 Ford Fusion (High mileage) and the dashboard is lit up like a Xmas tree. No power steering!I call around to a couple of local shops and they are honest - electric power steering needs a computer reset which they don't have and recommend going to a dealer. So, I went to the Ford dealer near me. Their diagnosis was a whole new steering rack is needed - $3,800!!!!I do some more googling to find Mark's specializes in fords so I call them. They can deal with the computer stuff so I bring it there. They do analysis (sent scan reports!) and discover the wire to the power steering motor was chewed off (rats!)! $500 to fix! Saved me over $3k.Great use of technology for the service. They email estimates with pictures and final bill! All very clear. (Going back to Ford with this info to get my diagnosis fee back!)Service is great (thanks Abbey, Mark and the team!).I really appreciate a well run, local, and competent business!!”

They were very upfront and honest about the state of my car and told me there were some things I needed to do and look out for. Ex. Air filter, oil leak or burns off..
I also used the Xtreme Clean car wash following the oil change and they too were great, highly recommend coming here.
