I visited CVS yesterday to print passport photos for my daughter, and I wasn’t having the greatest morning. I was struggling with the photo kiosk, feeling flustered and overwhelmed. The store manager, Steven, noticed I was having trouble and came over to help — and I can’t say enough about how kind and patient he was.
In a world where people often rush past each other, it was genuinely refreshing to encounter someone who chose to be helpful and compassionate. Steven took his time, walked me through the steps, and did it all with such calm and kindness that it truly turned my whole experience around.
Thank you, Steven, for being a bright spot in my day. CVS is lucky to have you, and I wanted to make sure your exceptional customer service didn’t go unnoticed.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeanine yesterday. I wasn’t having the best day and her consistent smile, positivity, and caring really helped out.

If you enjoy battling through bizarre bureaucratic circles, this might be the pharmacy for you. Tried to refill an Rx and found the out-of-pocket cost increased from $9 to $384. CVS insisted it was an insurance issue. An hour on the phone with my insurer confirmed it was not. Turns out, a discount card on my account somehow disappeared from CVS' systems. CVS, inexplicably, told me no such discount code had ever existed. And, they offered no explanation for how the price jumped by 4,267%. Tried to get a new price estimate from CVS with the discount code. But, it took so long, that CVS deleted my prescription and then refused to give me a price quote because I no longer had an active prescription.
I've sent an inquiry to corporate. I'll update this review if anything good comes of it. This is such a sad reflection on our country's excessively corporatized, greed-based healthcare system.

They are horrible filling prescriptions, even lost a prescription transfer from my hospital. If it wasn't for my insurance company having a contract with them I wouldn't use them as my pharmacy. They acan use a lesson in customer service. The clerks all look and act like they hate their jobs.

Worst of the worst. They treat you like cattle rather than a human being. Pharmacy staff is rude and have 0 empathy.

Don’t bother asking any questions at the pharmacy. You’ll just get rude responses, eye rolls, and not have you situation resolved.

I’ve had several frustrating experiences with the pharmacy at this CVS—this review isn’t about the store employees, who have been great, but specifically about the rude blonde pharmacist.
After receiving my first two Hepatitis B doses, I was told by other pharmacists (not the blonde) that I’d need a third. I made an appointment a month after the 2nd dose, but it was canceled the day of with no explanation. When I called, they said the third dose needed to be six months after the second dose. So I rescheduled for six months later, and it was canceled again, the day of. I also had a chickenpox vaccine scheduled that same day, so I went in anyway—only to be told they didn’t have it and had no idea when they would. The staff even joked about how they never have it in stock, which was frustrating since this was my third attempt and I booked it months in advance.
While there, I asked about the Hep B cancellation. The blonde pharmacist told me, with an attitude, that I got one dose in the first visit and two doses during my last visit—even though I only got one shot in the 2nd visit, and my CVS app shows two separate 0.5 mL doses. I questioned her again how it didn't make sense and she just kept repeating herself rudely, not changing the way she was explaining it at all. Still confused, I went home, did some research, and called back to clarify. The same blonde pharmacist spoke to me with more attitude, and hung up in the middle of me saying thank you. I later confirmed with my sister, a nurse, who explained that based on the hep b vaccine type I received, I only needed two doses. This was such a quick, simple and kind response that the pharmacist failed to give me.
On another visit, the same blonde pharmacist was annoyed when I wanted to update my insurance because it was 15 minutes til her lunchtime. I don't blame her for wanting her lunch because I would want to eat my lunch too, but its sad how she chose to be rude about it. Rudely telling me it would take longer than 15 minutes even though it only took five minutes when I returned.
I get that working in a pharmacy can be incredibly stressful, but many places deal with the same pressures and still manage to treat customers with respect. Maybe these places have better training or better support, but there’s no excuse for repeated rudeness.
Ultimately, to the blonde pharmacist specifically, customers aren’t healthcare experts. We’re just trying to understand our care. Clear and respectful communication should be the standard.

Inept CVS store, with many rude workers in the pharmacy area. Very slow to fill prescriptions, often dispensed with a sarcastic attitude. I now use it only for simple refills like allergy meds and antibiotics, but no way would I ever allow them to work on serious meds—like for a heart condition. Look elsewhere.

I’d give them a 0 if I could. They told me they don’t have my prescription in stock and it would be filled on Friday. Nothing on Friday! Now it’s two weeks later and they said to call my doctor if I still want it! Horrible service.
