They never answer their phone, the pharmacists are rude and they are often out of stock even for medications you get filled regularly and should make sure they have in stock. Very rude place

Store is nice. Employees are great. The pharmacist - Dimitri or something else is a complete jerk. Even his staff doesn’t know his name. I’ve had the same prescription for years filled every 28 days from a different CVS in the area. I switched because they were always short stocked so I decided to switch to this one. He claimed insurance rejected it. I called my insurance - he could have pushed it through. I called the other CVS and they said the same thing.

This store is great! Use to love how fast the script were but now I have a script sent in and 3 days later my meds are not done and when go it’s not ready and I have to wait. Now I bring in a hospital script and told it’s gonna take an hour and a half to fill when it’s meds for post hip surgery. This is beyond ridiculous service because when I returned back after the time they still only had one done and the staff have no empathy at all.

My daughter was just here and pulled through the pharmacy drive thru only to be told in a nasty time we're closed! While being very annoyed to be disturbed from reading their book. Power was out so they simply could have said sorry power is out come back later. What's it cost to be nice? Guess bad help is better then none. When the line is full how is someone to know your closed? Be kinder and better your a pharmacy employeeno need to act better then

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. They forget people have lives and children and work. Once had a covid test, their machine was broken and they forgot to cancel all of the testing appts. Then went to get a vaccine and the pharmacy was shut down bc the pharmacist had to leave. Again no appt cancellation. I don’t live next door to cvs, I have a small child that I don’t need to be running around with all the time.. they are so so so unprofessional and inconsiderate.

CVS at 1200 Rte 35 needs to be organized better for flu/covid shots. Drive thru is always a long wait 25-35 wait time. The walk in even longer wait times and that is with a scheduled appt. Had to cancel and leave twice at this location.

FYI, if you're looking for a prescription, don't trust the automated system. It works well when the RX you're looking for is readily available, but if you're looking for something in short supply, good luck. Twice now I've called in my prescription, and twice now I was told by the automated system it would be there. Twice now I've shown up, but the prescription wasn't. They did call around to find another pharmacy that had it, but even THEY couldn't get through to another local pharmacy. No one actually answers the phone. I've been sitting here waiting for about a half hour now while they take care of nonstop customers. Really disappointed with the way they handle things.

Went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription that I was told was ready, the pharmacists told me it wasn’t and I needed to wait 20 minutes. They forgot about me so I went back up and they let me know my prescription for my illness was out of stock and they wouldn’t be able to get it to me. Would recommend going elsewhere

Instead of helping me fill the prescription at another CVS pharmacy, he gave me a piece of paper with the name of the prescription and told me to go into yet another line and wait I have never been more angry with a business in my whole life it's taking me every ounce of energy I possess to remain free of using vulgar language. I've never been so pissed off in my life don't bother going to the store ever unless you crave being blown off, ignored, and totally dissatisfied.

Make sure if your prescription seems extremely high priced that they have run it through your insurance. Twice I have been charged over $100 and when I asked if it had been run through my insurance they told me it had and that was the amount due. I called my insurance company and they confirmed CVS had not contacted them and it had not been run through insurance. Twice I had to go back and get the prescription rerun ( which takes more time waiting) to the minimal amount I was actually supposed to pay after insurance. Not once did anyone apologize for the mishaps. It’s a very poorly run CVS branch pharmacy.

They didn't run my prescription through my insurance and told me they did and tried to charge me over $100. I called my insurance and was told that CVS never contacted them and my charge for the prescription should have been $5.99. This has happened to me twice at the Middletown CVS.

Cvs is always a pleasant experience. We love going there and seeing all the seasonal stuff they have. The place is always clean and set up well.

Pharmacy is closed every day from 1:30-2pm. Don't advertise you're open from 8am to 8pm when you're not. Overall, the level of service and quality at CVS continues to decline.

3 out of 4 pharmacists there are RUDE and completely unhelpful. I've already written to many senior executives at CVS but adding a public review may expedite how they respond to training/re-training of their employees. Having been sent over by Walgreen's without the choice of going to another Walgreen's has my family considering the local Mom and Pop pharmacies in our area. We may pay more but it will be well worth it!
