1) this place was SO dirty 2) i wanted about 20 work hours and was scheduled 30 hours mostly 3) literally 3 people working in each department 4) RUDE and OBNOXIOUS customers... several women grabbed my arm (which has scars from a condition) and told me it was scary, several men yelling and one lady screaming in the middle of the store 5) god this place was so messy i would have been able to clean it i wasnt the only cashier most days 6) the credit application is such a scam. i have absolutely no respect at all for the lead store manager. a promotion was given out for if you spent over $100 and applied for a new sears mastercard, you got a $30 credit for every purchase over $100 that day. well, a standard offer was if you spent over $30, you get $10 off every purchase that day over $30. in theory you could have just kept doing several purchases. so with the second offer, you could spent $90 to get $30 off. Not a ton of money, but you are still cheating the customer by saying "its a better deal." on the first deal, to save $500 you would need to spend $1667. on the second deal, to save $500 you would need to spend $1500. just the principal of scamming the customer by saying its a better deal. you are already taking advantage of a lower income demographic by pitching the credit card to them. unbelievable how the customers can be taken advantage of with such unfair deal, high interest rates and poor customer service 7) and every day constant nagging about how i only got one credit this week. i cant!!!! get credit!!!! when im the only cashier!!!!! helping a line of six people!!!!! lord 8) no air conditioning in the store. at all. not the biggest deal in the world, but made customers very angry. it was about 90 degrees inside the store in july. i got so fed up i just quit after i put in my two weeks; i couldnt make it through the two weeks after almost getting dehydrated. i took a sick day due to beginning symptoms of dehydration. and some medications like lithium cause an increased risk of dehydration but im just told to "drink more water. but dont drink water when helping customers." 9) it was very hard to take a 15. i went about 3/4 of my four hour shifts without a break. no managers can cover for you because about two are there every day. no co-workers can cover for you because they arent there! nobody works here! so nobody can cover your break. not the end of the world, but hey! i wanted a 15 those 3/4 shifts! 10) products are terrible. the clothes that i bought are so cheaply made and the shoes my sister bought broke. unless they are from an outside company (like levis) the products are so unreliable horrible place to shop and work. i am very unhappy that the great people who work here will lose their jobs and the brainwashing corporate sears has inflicted on the manager. i hope they can find jobs at companies that are more trustworthy and will treat them better.

Next time I buy an appliance I'm going to a local seller. I'm fed up with the take it or leave it service mentality of the box stores. Bought a new washer at Sears. The sales rep seemed to know what she was talking about. The price seemed fair. We wanted it delivered and the old one taken away (charge for that - no problem). As part of the delivery they would fully set up the new unit. We also bought the multi year warranty which was almost half the price of the unit. Fair enough. They delivered when they said they would, but couldn't fully install it because the drain hose wouldn't reach our drain pipe and they don't bring hose extensions or any of that stuff in the delivery truck. Really? My set up with the drain pipe 6 ft high is the only one Sears has ever seen? Doesn't Sears think maybe a question or two about the customer's set up would be important since they're including installation? This was not an expensive item, it's just the fact that they blew a pretty good experience by failing to deliver on what they promised. Cost me $15 and 1/2 hour of my time to finish the job- but it wasn't my job to finish. Just disappointed.

Bought Jaws chain saw third party saw online from Sears and than wanted to return it. I found out third party items had to be sent back to the third party if it's not sold at the store. Contacted the the third party and they said I had to pay for the mailing back. When I contacted Sears they said wait for a email which I never got. Called again asked for supervision to talked to and was told to wait for a call back which I never got. If Sears now has this kind of customer service they have lost me as a customer

I need to make this totally clear, they do not deserve any stars for this review! Best word of advice: NEVER EVER make a warranty deal with Sears! My mother currently has a warranty deal with them for her washer which is currently broken. She has no choice but to call them to have guys come and get it fixed. They were supposed to come yesterday in the afternoon and we were on top of their "must help" lists. However, when my mother had to go to the movies, I had to stay home and wait all day and evening for them to come, which forbade me to go for a run outside. That day, they never came. To make matters worse, they did not even call! This was very disrespectful! My mother and I would never tolerate this type of service! Whoever works there in that department should be fired for not doing their jobs correctly and being so mind-numbingly stupid! Today, my mother made a call to change the appointment and she was told by the idiot on the phone that they cannot come until Wednesday (five days after the original day that they were supposed to come)! They "couldn't" or DID NOT WANT to bump my mother's appointment over someone else's! They should have adjusted the schedule since my mother made an appointment with them first. They need to set their priorities straight! Overall, do not make a warranty deal with them. Do not even associate with them! Poor service + idiotic people = frustrated and angry customers!

Sears has a rewards points program for their customers and today I used my rewards points to get some pretty silver and blue Gloria Vanderbilt jewelry that was on clearance. They had their swimwear on the racks and I saw a Land's End bathing suit which I might come back for in the near future.

If there were no stars that would have been better. I have been dealing with sears appliances for 40 years. Never have I experienced unorganized, unresponsive, lack of work ethics of personnel. I recently purchased a dishwasher and microwave. The dishwasher I had installed which cost me way more to have it installed then to buy it. I did not have the microwave installed because of that reason. The communication with the delivery was TERRIBLE. Not only did they not call me, my 86 yr old mother was home alone. They said I needed a different valve in order to connect the dishwasher. $150 and 5 minutes later done. Complete and utter rip off. I am so upset right now. I will never again come to Sears for ANYTHING, and I will tell everyone. I was supposed to get a call about my microwave to be picked up for the past 3 days, have you heard from them because I haven't. I call and call, nobody picks up the telephone. When you do get someone, they put you on hold and then the line goes busy... So let me see how this goes over SEARS.... I will buy the other 4 huge appliances I need elsewhere.

Everytime i visit Sears its been a pleasure. The workers are always so helpful. The prices on clothes and shoes are very competitive with all the other big chain stores but their quality seems to be just a little bit better than the other guys. Keep up the good work Sears I'll be back.

As much as I have enjoyed shopping at Sears in the past, I find it hard to recommend them now. I can think of a few points that would improve their customer experience, but my biggest complaint is their checkout system. This sore is constantly understaffed. The few checkout stands that are open have no sense of urgency for people waiting. The cashiers are constantly struggling with register issues, point redemptions, or pitching their credit cards. Often, it takes forever to checkout. During my last visit, there could not have been more than 10 customers in the whole store. I still stood in a checkout line with one person ahead of me for almost 10 minutes with no movement. Out of pure frustration, I finally abandoned my cart and left the store. I am now getting a better idea why Sears keeps closing stores across the country.

Best Sears I have been at. Clean, organized & well stocked. Great prices. Very nice & professional manager. Nice layout. Only downside is that outside of store is a bit drab but plenty of parking.

This review is for SEARS SERVICE AND MASTER PROTECTION. June -July 2017. Been a customer for 30 years and never have I experienced such disrespect and lack of customer care that I have in the last 10 weeks. I have had master protection plans and never let them expire all the years of being a customer. On 6/15 I called for service, took 2 weeks to get an appointment. 7/5 was finally the day for my washing machine to be repaired. Tech never showed. They kept saying he is on his way. They put us on for 7/6 and tech never showed again and they rescheduled to the first available which was July 13. tech came stayed 5 mintues and left forgot to order a major part. Lots of boxes delivered, didn't know he didn't order the part. So on July 26, 2 techs come out and the Sr. tech says he won't fix b/c we were suppose to have the dryer disconnected and out of the room to work on the washer. We were never told that by anyone! His rudeness was inexcusable. He walked out and rescheduled me for August 4th. Said the part would be expedited. August 3rd just got a call that they are cancelling the appointment for tomorrow because the part is back ordered until October 10th. I spoke to a supervisor, as it clearly states if they can't fix something they need to replace it, but oh no they can fix it in October. They don't care. Don't use Sears as they have changed so much. I'm still shocked about all of this!!! Update August 14, 2017: after hours and hours of calls, being disconnected, lost days of work for no shows, I finally reached someone who said this is not acceptable thru Sears Customer Solutions. I was issued a voucher for a new washer. This took 10 weeks. Update August 21, 2017: oh yes don't laugh they delivered a new washer. Delivery men outside company used by sears got dirt all over my carpet. Placed washer in laundry room and left. Never plugged it in. So I did as let me tell you I had tons of laundry. Well machine failed to turn on. Finally did. Wasn't the plug it just turned on. My laundry after one load is locked inside. Oh wait they want to repair it not replace it. So my neighbor told me when they were taking it off the truck they dropped it and it kind of bounced. So what next? They are forcing me to say screw it and buy a machine. WON't be from Sears! I called delivery and they put in the request for replacement and it could take up to 5 days for someone to get back to me!! Any chance Yelp can install negative stars for this one, something special for Sears!?!?!
