About Swimming River Park
Swimming River Park is a very new addition to the Monmouth County Park System. It is primarily a boat launch site, providing boat ramp access to the river for fishing, crabbing, and touring the marshes and coves with kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, or trailered vessels. The boat ramp is a great asset to the community, though passes are required. The site also features a short paved trail looping around the perimeter of the park, offering beautiful and rewarding views of the Navesink River. It is a good place for a walk, to launch a kayak, or for wildlife observation. As a very new park, it is currently sterile with young trees, but additional improvements are planned for the future. The park does not permit swimming.
