“This was the first time today that I ever went into Maureen’s wonderful Gingerbread Consignment Store! From the time I entered, I was totally happy to be inside. I loved all of the items chosen for the store from the value, selection and quality. I was so honored to meet Maureen and totally blown away by her ability to connect with her customers and how at home she made me feel in her store, and how accommodating she also was! Her opinions of items I chose and her ability to pick items that would look great on me.. She pointed out the 50% items out for me(and there were so many)!! I also loved all of the items she chose for the store. They were all clean as the store was too. I spoke to quite a few of her lovely customers also and they were great. I live about 50 miles away but it was well worth the trip and I will surely be back!!! Highly recommend!!!!!”
“Great store and staff. My grandson found just what he was looking for. Both the manager and the sales staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful .We bought a Surpreme hat in light blue, my grandson was a true hit with his friends.”
“We try to pop in whenever we can, as my 11 year old son has loved this store for as long as I can remember . He’s gotten some of his most prized possessions here ! Also - we are always treated so kindly by the owner(s). There is so much to see /find , and everyone would love stopping to see the treasure they have . Thankful for a spot like this we can visit often !”
“I have loved this shop for several years, but just don't get there often enough. Yesterday, 1 skirt, 1 blouse, 1 pair of heels - perfect ! There is a large selection, from casual to dressy to designer and vintage, with reasonable prices across the board. All the ladies are so helpful, it's a wonderful shopping environment !And the owner Anne mentioned that they're starting livestreaming of sales on the ShopShops app, this weekend !”
“PROS: this place was very nice. Historically a train station that was renovated into a shop. The staff was nice, prices were amazing, variety of items plentiful, everything was organized, and the items were good quality. There was even loads of parking CONS: the place wasn't all that big which caused congestion inside. OVERALL: I will definitely come back here as this is an amazing place to go thrifting”
“Overwhelming in the best way! I was bowled over by the insane quantity of donated materials they had, and more importantly, how organized it all was!!!! This was not some bargain bin with stained crap thrown in- these were nice quality clothes, sorted very specifically and resold for a VERY reasonable price. My eco-conscious heart swooned. I even got a bunch of fabric, how cool is that!!! Loved it and can’t wait to come back to keep digging. The staff were friendly and patient too, very hands off but if you needed help they’d be happy to oblige.”
“Tremendous Prices Are Good And The Person Can Always Save Something. You Have To Make Time, Don't Be In A Hurry Good Offers And If You Always Save Some Money. God Bless All The Employees And Their Manager. Amen ???!!”
“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
“Very cool vintage shop like something you’d find in Brooklyn or L.A. The owner was very kind to look at my offerings and least give me a market perspective on their worth . Really helped my roux house cleaning of late cousins estate .Great place for holiday vintage shopping too !”
“Friendly people great service prompt delivery and to top it off they have amazing pieces for all tastes at great low prices .... Stop by one of their locations and see for yourselves .. Highly recommend it...”
“Amazingly large area located in an old factory the entrance is in the loading back area Parking's tight Prices are good but Wednesday's three tags great Got my winter wardrobe there Wednesday staff very helpful Try it u will like it”
“Although I have emphathy for the inconvenience & frustration for lack of consistency w/store hours...the owner has been sick, in the hospital & recouping from a broken foot! Also, the loss of her sweetmother (reg customers know who I'm speaking of), & another very unexpected death in the family, all in the past year +/- have been hard for her. Dare I suggest you call 1st, just to verify her open hours. Just a thought. I'm just saying...?”
“I like shopping at this well organized thrift store. It's pretty pricey but I have found some great items at 25 and 50 percent off. There is always so much to choose from. Well stocked with clothing.”
“Just stumbled upon vintage vibes today. Went in and talked with the owners and looked around. Incredible selection of all types old vintage games memorabilia records posters and niknacks. 100% an amazing shop and amazing people working there. Definitely advise everyone to stop in and check it out”
