“St. Bartholomew's is a welcoming place. We experienced this from our first phone call all the way through our Wedding Day.
Father John, Cathy, Paul and the team are such nice, warm and friendly people.
We are not from the area and they still treated us like one of their parishioners.
Our Pre-Cana mentor couple were absolutely amazing as well. We learned so much while also realizing that we knew each other quite well.
The Church is beautiful inside and out, has a stunning prayer garden and well maintained landscaping.
Had we lived closer to St. Bartholomew's we would attend.

“It’s a beautiful Catholic Church, part of Madison history. Parish over 200 years and building at Green Village road since the beginning of the 1900s with its Norman Gothic architecture.
We had our wedding there in 2016 before the last renovation. Father George did a great job and is greatly missed. The new pastor Father Owen is also doing a great service for the church and the parish.
The ushers are always friendly and welcoming. There are other activities to be involved such a the choir, Rosary Society and others. If you live near by check out their website and visit.
The Spanish community is also very involved.”

“It’s a Utsav Hindu mandir of Swaminarayan Bhagwan. All the Hindu Utsav’s are celebrated with joy and happiness. All the Hindu festivals are celebrated traditionally at mandir, naivedh is being prepared with utmost purity and offered to the deities. There after prasad is consumed by many devotees here during all the celebrations and weekly on Saturdays. Occasionally, the religious leader of Shri NarNarayan Dev Gadi, His Hiloness 1008 Shri Koshelendra Prasadji Maharaj visits the temple and showers his blessings upon the saints and devotees.”

“I love their wednesday afternoon senior gathering. I went there to pick up my mom and they welcomed me like I was one of the regulars. Since church is in a crime ridden neighborhood I wish they had security on staff or locked doors but I understand that might not be possible because of a tight money budget”

“The salvation army provides meals on various days for the homeless people in the community as well as providing clothing and other offerings for these individuals the salvation army is a great addition to the community and helps the community with both food and spiritual offerings. “I'm not entirely sure if it's fair for me to write a review of this church since I'm a member, but I think it needs to be mentioned publicly in as many places as possible that FCC is one of the most healing and spiritually fulfilling churches in New Jersey. I've never felt so loved and cared for in a church before, and everyone from the senior pastor to various congregants have been more than welcoming.
This congregation is part of the United Church of Christ and is an Open & Affirming church with egalitarian leadership. People of any and all ethnicities, sexual orientations, classes, and gender identities are fully welcome and encouraged to participate in every aspect of church life.”

“I have been a member of this meditation center for over ten years and have greatly benefited from the many teachings and the beautiful community of people interested in inner peace. A few peaceful moments in breathing meditation can truly change your life if you invesitigate it openly. Along the way I gave myself permission to learn the Buddhist practices they presented because everything else seemed so on-point.
This Buddhist tradition has given me very valid and valuable perspectives that have allowed me to find the meaning and purpose I've always been seeking. The center charges nominal fees for classes but no one is turned away for financial reasons. They always encourage your growth and involvement, but never require it. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone has on this organization and its methods. Much peace to you.”
