From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Ask for Diane- she is so lovely and helpful. I had not been to PureBarre for several years. Carly helped me to find the correct positions. My neighbor in class also showed me when to use the hoop, etc. it is a great sculpting and toning workout. I just love going there!

I am an avid Pure Barre and Cycle Bar fan. Pure Barre is a low impact workout that is effective for all fitness levels. The class is fast paced and keeps you on your toes (literally and figuratively). The teachers are clear and motivating, the classmates are friendly and welcoming. Each format is different and even within each format, each class follows the same structure but is different. I can’t say enough good things about Pure Barre. Cycle is the perfect complement to get a more intense cardio workout, though I get FOMO when I take CB instead of PB!

I agree cancelling membership process is unclear and frustrating. They do not warn you need to provide a 30 days notice to cancel regardless of the reason (even if you have a valid medical one). I ended up paying for 2 months of service I did not use.

What a great workout! Pure Barre provides strength training, works all muscle groups, adds a bit of yoga, stretching, and yes, cardio too! The variety of formats/classes prevents you from getting bored and your muscles are constantly surprised! I have lost pounds and inches - -Thank you to all of the staff!

My experience trying to cancel my membership has been incredibly frustrating. I was given conflicting information, told the decision rested with corporate when it actually didn't, and generally made to feel like my time wasn't valued. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. Moving is stressful enough, and this added layer of difficulty was completely unnecessary. While I enjoyed the workouts and the coaches were super nice, the terrible customer service experience has completely soured my overall impression. I will not be returning and would not recommend this studio to anyone. If you’re considering joining, be prepared for a potential headache if you ever need to cancel. There's a studio near my new home, but after this experience, I won't be trying that one either.

I took a “Foundations Intro.” class today at Pure Barre, Millburn, NJ. Sarah was awesome! She was clear on explaining what to expect during the class, she walked around to correct your form and advised you of modifications if you have limitations. It’s a full workout for your entire body. The overall vibe was great. I can’t say enough about the staff at the front desk, everyone was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a good experience. I definitely recommend them. I’ll be trying a CycleBar session next week. ?

Not only is this workout effective…the sense of community & how welcoming everyone us is fantastic! I am also a sucker for all the “events” & “challenges”!! Love it!

This business shares their studio with CycleBar Millburn. The community is like a huge family. The instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly. They all make you feel like family. You can not go wrong taking any of the instructors. They all assist you if you need to modify moves or if you look like you are having difficulty with the moves. The boutique also sells lots of nice clothes and the required grip socks. And, since they share the Studio with CycleBar, there is another exercise regimen available. They have different memberships but they also offer a dual membership. Support your small local business(es)! We do! Your first class is always free, so there's no reason not to give them a try.

I’ve taken travelled and tried many different workouts and studios. And nothing compares to PB short hills. This studio feels like my second home. The best instructors. Each instructor brings a different flavor to the workout. The workout is tough and effective but very addictive.

I only started attending the Pure Barre studio in Short Hills in January of this year after having taken an extended break from working out after running the 2019 NYC Marathon. I only started attending the Pure Barre studio in Short Hills in January of this year (2020) after having taken an extended break from working out after having run the NYC Marathon. I had driven past the studio hundreds of times and heard friends rave about the Pure Barre method and finally decided to take the plunge by taking their complimentary "Basics" class... and then I was hooked! Not only are the instructors warm and welcoming (even at 5:50am!) but they make it a point to learn your name and gently adjust you during class, so you can get the most out of each workout. The other thing that I love about Pure Barre is that the entire workout is shaped by accountability. There are no machines or distractions for you to compensate with... your mindset and your body get to be in charge of how hard you lift, tone and burn and that kind of accountability ignites the fire and confidence to push yourself more and more every time. Although I've only attended around ten classes, it is evident that not only my body has gotten stronger in this short amount of time, but so has the positive dialogue in my head. I also have to commend the studio on hosting live online workouts during the COVID-19 outbreak. I know that for many of us who thrive on routines and being physically active, the restrictions the coronavirus has placed on us has made it difficult to feel "normal." I am grateful that Pure Barre Short Hills has created a safe and healthy option for people to continue to build strength and confidence during these trying times.
