I’ve had great experience so this is why three stars but Cimmone the Manager had a bad day and she should check her attitude at the door. Maybe she can be trained by the Chick Fil A staff. I leave there feeling more special.

Absolutely horrible experience!
When I said I didn’t care about the lipstick format and was simply looking for a pink shade, the staff member snapped, “Well, actually, the format matters.” I tried to explain that I’m open to any option and that color is my priority - but they seemed uninterested in helping at all.
Then I went to try products from NARS, Dior, and others - everything was dried out, unusable, and frankly disgusting.
Rude staff, poor service, and testers in unacceptable condition. Do not recommend this location under any circumstance.

I have never visited this specific location, so I will not give it a 1 star review. However, when I applied for a Sephora credit card at another location and was approved, my card never made it to my mailbox, it was stolen somewhere between the processing facility and post office. The person who stole my card was able to use it at this location with no problem at all and rack up nearly $1,000 dollars in merchandise. I know it's not protocol to check id's when making purchases with any type of card, but unfortunately due to the society we live in today running rampant with thieves and con-artists, it should be necessary, especially with purchases over a certain amount so hard working people can avoid being victims of identity theft and fraud and all the aggravation that comes with it.

This is nothing against Sephora, I shop there frequently enough to know what I’m looking for when I go. However, this location never feels very welcoming. I had about 7 full sized items in my hand, and was struggling to test out brow pencils. Employees just continued their conversations in the same aisle and didn’t bother to acknowledge me. I walked up to a group (still struggling) — no help. I had to use my foot to flip over a basket I saw on the floor (which they just watched me do, and STILL offered no help). I also walked up to two employees (mid conversation) trying to ask for a full sized O/S spray and they WALKED AWAY (continuing the conversation). I hate to bring race into things, but I watched them greet and offer help to even the young, empty handed tweens who were in there shopping. I’m glad there’s a Jersey gardens location . Anyway, thanks to the woman who helped me get my o/s & the nice girl who was doing the spin the wheel outside — the extra star is for them. The rest of you, as I expressed, are useless. <3

I bought the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray I was so excited to use it until I got home I opened the package and it won’t spray “ it was also dirty when I opened would not go back

My visit on 5-15 in Short Hills NJ
The employees were not helpful
I asked a question and was answered in a way that I felt I was disturbing their chit chat
Also cashier was rude
I am a rogue customer and expect a little better service than I received
I left store with a bad feeling

So i went into Sephora short hills today, i had no idea what i was looking for since I usually do not wear a lot of makeup. i needed some foundation and basic tips on application and what to buy, especially nervous due to my son’s upcoming wedding The staff was very friendly and offered assistance as i looked lost. Samantha in particular was incredibly confident and welcoming, she immediately took me under her wing and guided me not just with products but showed me how to apply them, she even applied makeup for a complete look! . She gave me exactly what i asked for. . Your staff at this location are gems!
