Your tellers should not make customers use the inside ATM when there aren’t any other customers waiting. It is rude and actually takes longer. And if it’s a matter of the denomination of bills available, then I should have been presented with all available options. 50’s and 20’s would have sufficed.

Officious branch manager has been the bane of my existence for 8 years. Had to deal with him because it was my dad's bank. Asked very nosey personal questions irrelevant to transactions. Hands tied by corporate. Lousy excuse for a bank.

Stopped here to get some change, and had a bit of a wait while the staffer went to break down some bills (ran out of ones which seemed weird). Same thing as other banks, if you don't have your debit card, they will use your ID to look up your account. The manager came up and asked if I was being helped, genuinely inquired if I was doing well and if there was anything else he could do, and wished me a blessed day leaving. Now take note, Ilya, that is what customer service from a manager should look like - no stuffy attitude that you're better than or ignoring customers - he not only treated me as the customer he appreciated, but showed this same attitude with two other customers that came in after me that I saw before we left. Solid props to him. Entrance off the westbound side on Essex St isn't as well labeled as the eastbound Millburn St side.

I like this branch because first, it is well staffed. You rarely have to wait online for long. The staff, under the manager, Vijay, is extremely professional and friendly. Second, it has foreign currency, although I suggest you call a few days in advance to make sure they have the currency you want in stock. I've order Euros, Argentian peso, English pounds, etc. They can get just about anything you want within a few days. Third, they have a large parking lot. (Hard to bank if you can't park.) There's both a drive thru ATM and a separate enclosed ATM. I don't use the drive thru or the safe deposit boxes, but it's nice you can get all the services in one area.

This is extraordinary, because I truly despise Wells Fargo (the company). But I had a great experience at this branch. I had a matter to deal with. I called the branch (and got through!). Someone handled the answer and told me to ask for Joshua when I came in. Joshua had my name and was expecting me. He handled my transaction as promised - friendly, engaging, thorough. Standing there I overheard other people coming in and talking to the greeter, being helped, etc. In every case the branch employees were heads-up, friendly, and efficient.

Banking at the Millburn NJ branch was the worst banking experience I have ever had - beginning with their inability to properly set up a new account to depositing funds and timely removing improper fees. The staff were generally discourteous and unknowledgeavle.
