Today I had the pleasure of having John and Sons move my furniture to my new home. My husband and I lived on the third floor of an apartment building- with no elevator! They worked efficiently and quickly!! We had a ton of furniture and boxes that they packed up and loaded onto their truck in under 90 minutes. They even unloaded both my and my mom’s cars! When I wasn’t sure how the furniture should be set up in our basement, they were helpful and gave really great ideas ! They were polite, professional, friendly, funny and overall a great group of guys! I would recommend them again and again. Thanks John and Sons!

I had such a positive experience with Dwayne from start to finish. He and his team were incredibly friendly, professional, and careful while loading and unloading my belongings. Moving can be so stressful, but Dwayne made the process much smoother—especially when my settlement date changed at the last minute. He was flexible, accommodating, and held my items until everything was ready. I’ll definitely use his services again when needed and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable mover.

I called John and Sons to get a price for moving a desk and some furniture from my second floor to the first floor. Spoke with Skyler who was as helpful as can be, provided a reasonable fee and was terrific at communicating throughout the entire process. The gentlemen who came out were prompt, professional, and incredibly courteous. I will definitely use John and Sons for any future moving needs and recommendation you do as well.

Amazing and quick work!! Go to movers from now on in SJ.
My family was in a pinch and we had to get several big items moved very quickly. One item, which was an upright grand piano, had much sentimental value as it was my husband’s late grandmother’s. Jamil and his crew came on time, they wrapped the piano, and handled it and everything with care. Then they helped us move all our items to a storage unit!! I couldn’t be happier with their service. They’ve made an eternal customer out of me and my family. If you need a move in their area, CALL THEM NOW!!

Damaged our walls in our home moving a fridge. Chipped the dry wall down to the metal stud and left dry wall shavings and chippings all over the floor. We made them aware of it in the moment to which they said “it was a tight space. I don’t know what you want us to do.” Then we called to complain and had the audacity to claim that the damage was already there and the dry wall chips and shavings were there before. I don’t know why we’d leave drywall chips and dust all over our floor when we have animals in our home, and then why wouldn’t you say that in the moment? Why wait until later to claim that the damage was already there,
We have a security camera in our living room that caught the damage and photos of the extreme damage and mess they left. Our home was recently professionally painted and renovated and now it’s covered in damage that was not there prior. Dont use this company unless you want them to gaslight you and lie about damage.
what terrible customer service. They are so unprofessional. Treated us like we are idiots. 0/10, I would never recommend them to anyone with how terrible they treat customers.
See the owner’s reply to show the lies lol like I said we have security cameras in our home that caught the damage and small children and animals that cannot play around dry wall shavings so we wouldn’t have left that mess. Our home was recently remodeled and professionally painted. The damage was not there. They are honestly comical in their reply. We made them aware in the moment when we saw them damage and were told “what can we do?” We had other movers move in the fridge and they didn’t cause damage. Clearly 50+ years is not enough experience! Go with a different company and save yourself renovation and damage fees.

I had the pleasure of working with the owner, Dwayne, in assisting me to move various items from one location to another. Right from the initial contact all the way down to the last item off the truck, Dwayne was beyond professional. He broke it all down for me in our preliminary phone call, and after speaking with 2 other moving companies, the decision was clear. He truly cares about his business and his customers and made sure to take extra care of all the items. A big thank you also to Mike and Deon as well for all their hard work. I can't recommend John and Sons moving enough.

Hard working! Among things moved, a baby grand piano. I never imagined what goes into moving it properly. They did such a great job moving everything, including disassembling & reassembling the piano in the next house. I appreciated all the care they took.
